Need something to satisfy my novel fix and so far I'm finding it hard to find anything that really scratches that itch and really grabs me enough to want to binge it. I've been away from NU for a while so it'd be nice to know what's the new "thing." The new novels everyone is recommending or hooked on. My main preferences are usually somewhat independent good guy/girl MCs that at least have friends and has some level of wisdom or sense. Preferably for them not to be weak. Don't need to be OP just competent. I'm fine with romance, preferably BG or GL, even harem (so long as it doesn't ruin the story with annoying drama or affect character depth/interactions). Also, don't like sad or depressingly dark stories. I'm fine with fanfic and works from other places too like RR, FF, SB, SV, etc.
Mages are Too OP. <----- the title doesn't exactly reflect the story that well at least 100ch in there are no real OP character in it that I know.
Regressor Instruction Manual - tho the mc isn’t a good person per se, however, he isn’t fundamentally bad either. He is pretty independent and smart too. Also, I’m not sure if everyone will recommend it but it has been recently translated. So you should check it out if you haven’t!
he is only powerful because pf the work and research he put into it. I wouldn't say he is OP since he has died. OP= godlike.
