Request Looking for tablet games

I'm running out of things to read and feel like playing something while I build up a backlog. I'm mainly looking for games that can be played offline or have minimal access to the internet. RPGs, tactical/strategic and adventure genres are preferred. Lol free would be a bonus but I'm willing to pay if they are actually worth it.

 

Xcom is apparantly available on tablet

 

What about tower defense?
I kinda waste a lot of time with it

xcom is lit, but xcom 2's loading times are ass, idk about playing that on a tablet. even when watching lets plays or streams they have to wait a good 30 sec or so, while I can take a walk or do the laundry when playing waiting.

I'd definitely recommend xcom enemy within though (and xcom 2 is even better besides the loading)

 

Baldur's Gate 2.
It's an offline tactical RPG.
It's usually $10, but it's on sale for 2 for the next 6 days.
I recommend this game for tablet because you'll need a big screen for the UI.

... that brings back memories used to play that back when it was a dos game as a teenager. xD was really creepy was that sometimes the muton's were screaming my name as the died...

 

If you like making a "world" try Pocket Build.

Depending on what kind of tablet you have but you might be able to put a emulator on it to play snes, playstation, etc games. Of course only able to do it legally if you hold a physical copy of the game.

Could always try those text novel games since there is a bunch of those floating around. All sorts of genre can be found.

 

... I haven't played a text base game since the early 90s. Might look into it just for old times sake xD

 

the one i meant was enemy unknown and enemy within, i never played the older ones back in the day as the graphics are just too bad for me to start now, kinda hope they do a remake.

 

Yeah, I noticed when I was checking, there is another game based on it called aliens vs humans, but the graphics were mostly just pixil art. Honestly have a copy one my laptop that runs on dosbox but I would rather use a tablet.

Are you guys still playing this game? Well, I am new here I also like to play a video game I am always in a search for the latest version to have in a shooter video game. Well, Sea of solitude is yet to release, I think this game is going to release in the coming year. One can also try Destiny 2 playing this game is very simple and convenient.

 

Do yourself a favour and download some emulators

 

Now that you mention it I feel rather stupid... it's been so long since I've earnestly played games that I forgot that this tablet despite looking like nothing more then a touch screen monitor has a better CPU and graphic capabilities then many of the consoles I've owned in the past...

Nah, I can drive tractor irl. So no need to simulate something I can earn a paycheck while actually farming.

These are kind of in the vein of puzzle boxes. Each puzzle you solve on the box unlocks another part of the box(or the table it sits upon) and allows you to progress. Solve the complete box to move to the next room and the next intricate box. Each game takes about 4 hours give or take depending on how quickly you can solve the puzzles. I played the first 2 on my Kindle Fire and loved how they played on a touch screen. The puzzles range from simple to a bit more difficult but nothing should send you running to a guide to find your next move. Some simple fun with great graphics helping to waste a day or two of time.

I remember getting the first 2 free on my tablet, though the third one is more recent so it costs a few bucks I think.
