I didn't think Sword of Dawnbreaker was that good, later in the novel he does stupid actions. I was forced to let go
Do you remember how Klein hid the mythological form of the dragon so that Audrey and Leonard did not go crazy?
I was having trouble remembering so I went back to look at it. It's a Giant. First it was only a strong emotion and not a real form. They were affected because it was in Sea of Subconscious, so it's directly affecting their mind. Second, Klein used Illusion to them so they won't see and won't interact with it, thus preventing it from affecting them. Third, Klein interact with his niece by tentacle, and interact meaning seeing and touching. There's a phrase, don't look directly at god. I wonder if it's become okay is because Klein's sort of changing into Mythical Creature (like Kotar etc). We only saw that Klein's can change into human form as angels, which won't affect people. However we don't know about God form, will it not affect people as we don't have direct prove of it not affecting them (until him and his niece with tentacle of course, but that goes against the law and understandable as Author wanted it to finish as soon as possible, lmao).
Oh and one thing, the author do plan on writing a second book, the timing should be from Klein's sleeping till his awakening. His author note sort of giving hints here and there. Anyway, the bonus chapter is posted around 7 May for maybe ten days...
Well, I'm off to another book. Bye everyone, I hope I'll see you again if I found another interesting book.
I just finished Mother of Learning last Feb, and now I am currently reading again for the X times The Zombie Knight Saga.

Not reading any of the spoilers for now, I'm just curious guys, is the ending disappointing and rushed like the author's other novels?
It's not over yet, there's going to be a sequel in ~2 years. Lord of the Mysteries 2 is confirmed, and there might even be a 3. What ended recently was just part 1.
I think it was a good ending, you can understand some of the decisions by the author about some storylines that are left in the air for the sequel.
I thought I would be happy Lord of the Mysteries would be finished, but I'm just feeling empty asf to know that this gem has come to an end. Can anyone give me some small details concerning the sequel? Apparently, the new mc is a hunter (?).
Here's some information from the author's note: "For LOTM2, I haven't decided on the Main Character, and how this character is going to cut into the story. but right now within my mind some story scenes have already popped up: It will be Hidden Storyline composed of: Every single member of the Tarot Club, and their many attempts at awaking Klein; Using the five gold coins and the iron cigar box to represent different characters. The Main Character of LOTM 2 may encounter a Hunter Pathway who light up a cigar and talk about the past; He may occasionally peek/be shown a beautiful, half covered face; He may hear about a NEW CONTINENT being discovered abroad; He may interact with the Kings and Queens of the Five Seas; He may go on an adventure to explore those remaining, shrouded legends of treasures; He may come into conflict and interaction with "Transmigraters" of all kinds (released from cocoon), and "infiltrators" of all kinds; As for the exact "genre", I will have to decide on it later. All in all, from a world setting perspective, I left a crap load of space for LOTM 2. I am absolutely not worried about not having anything to write about." The sequel is gonna take place either from when Klein fell asleep or a bit before it, and it will end with Klein waking up.
