In book 2 the Tarot Club is lofty and mysterious(from other people's perspective) There will be no romance in Book 2 (OP funnily added "so dead ships are ok?") Premise being Victorian era was due to cuttle's preference; it's also most fiting. He's doing research (on that). He's considering whether and how far Klein can regain his humanity. Book 2 might have powerful figures from the Western Continent, but in order to connect with book 3 they won't have much screen time. The style of the Western Continent leans toward the integration of the legends, folklore, and supernatural of Eastern culture. Some Amons drink, others don't. Haven't thought about whether important characters from the first book will die. Amon will return. Roselle is more suitable as a side character(must consider if he can pass the censorship as the protagonist). ASG's nationality is a bit sensitive.
