Reading mtl isn't very good and if you do you should re-read those parts when the English translation catches up. You will miss many things. Klein gets the Tyrant card and the Red Priest card in volume 4. You're in luck volume 3 has Klein acting as a bounty hunter which means there will have a lot of action. In fact it is my favourite volume as a whole.
