    i don't know about others ...but senpai really, absolutely, seriously resents it.
    never liked this concept , never will.
    senpai avoids it like a plague, as well as any light novel or anime that has it.
    as a senpai that has countless kouhais.....it's not my cup of tea.

    What's the one story whose name I can't remember.... it has a guy who is great with swords entering a class with magicians. Eventually, he contracts with a girl who says he needs to have 72 women fall in love with him (I think it was 72)...

    Whatever the name is, it's actually pretty good imo

    True. In some case, love triangle could be truly wonderful. Depends on author and genre too, I think.
