I have been reading the Chinese novel Weapon Master on Babelnovel, which I believe is all machine translation. There are MANY situations where it suddenly goes from story to ‘Love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love’ etc for several lines. It also uses ‘love’ in sentences that make no sense. Such as this piece from chapter 124, "Brother Tang Huan, although the technique of this male disciple's love is very normal, he won't win in battle against an innate divine power. If you meet him in Martial Competition, you better not fight him head on." -note this is NOT a BL novel.... Other times it almost seems like the ‘love’ word should actually be ‘face’. I do not have the original text to compare to, so my question is this: What sorts of words do you guys think might be mistranslated to ‘love’ by a machine translator of Chinese?
Thank you! That might explain several of the weirder ones. Any idea of the many loves, such as these in chapter 51?: Very quickly, she passed through the back door of the blacksmith shop, leaving Tang Huan with a beautiful view of her back. "Love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love!"
MTL error. original 很,她便穿过铁匠铺后门,只留给唐欢一个曼妙多姿的背影o “不说就不说吧o” MTL should be he passed through the back door of the blacksmith shop, leaving Tang Huan with a beautiful view of her back. "If you don't want to say it, then don't say it."
It is mostly readable. Just assume 80% of pronouns are the wrong gender. Also, do not read if you are a grammer fiend.
