This thread is discussing the latest chapter of A Practical Guide to Evil. Which, by the way, is a stunning conclusion to two incredible story arcs. Two madmen with immense willpower and nigh on unachievable goals/principles. And they will not be stopped. It was just perfect. Anyone who wants to comment on it feel free to do so. I also wanted to discuss the greatest madmen of fiction. The people with plans and schemes and beliefs and will taken to the absolute extreme. Who went out in flames or found themselves somehow on top of the world for that one crowning moment. Jorg Ancrath is another character that comes to mind as well. These characters have always been amongst my most beloved. So let's discuss these true heroes!
I never liked hierarch honestly but yeah kairos was cool. It was a good way to go, thumbing his nose at the heavens till the end
Black, maybe not my favorite but i appreciate him. You'd think he was just practicality, rationality taken to the utmost extremes creating a cold monster of machine like precision and just as merciless. But then you see his complete disdain for Good, his stubborn contempt for the unfairness of it all. Thats where his fire is, he'd destroy most anything to see it truly beaten one good time.
