The power role Punk, you were worried about might die because of an event.
Most of commission members got whipped out, only 2 remains.
CIA and Town both have 5 members left.
CIA has 5 living members, Town has 7-8(?), Commission has 2.
Body count as of D4 are 1-2(?) Neutrals, 1 Town and 3 Commission.
I was thinking of a new mafia mod: 12 Players, 12 colored boxes
One cycle has three phases: Morning (24 hours), Afternoon (24 hours), Evening (24 hours)
There are 12 boxes, each containing one ability that can only be used once during that cycle's Evening phase
The abilities in the colored boxes will be reshuffled after every cycle
The list of abilities will be announced at the start of every cycle (Morning phase)
The players will not be informed which box contains which ability
The players will only be notified about what ability is inside their own colored box during the Evening Phase
In the Mornings, players decide who to lynch (aka gets the rainbox box that contains a bomb)
In the Mornings, players do an event for a chance to ask the host one question per winner about the colored boxes
In the Afternoons, players decide the order of who gets to choose a colored box first
In the Evenings, players get the 1-time ability inside their chosen colored box (investigation, killing, roleblocking, redirecting, special, etc)
> No matter the amount of living players, there will always be 12 colored boxes
> Have not decided yet if there will be Neutrals in the game
> Have not decided yet which phase the Mafia group chat will open (could be random every cycle for the lulz)

Hm. That sounds surprisingly good for Town. Dunno why Punk "might" die, but it's still a bad role.

Sounds fun and chaotic! I really like the colored box setting~ I'm currently imagining colored boxes hanging in the sky with an angelic cloudy backdrop, isn't that beautiful?

What we know according to the Opening Post:
Jester cannot fake their flip.
Boater is Lynch-Immune.
This is what I know:
Bane makes addendums/clarifications because nobody reviewed his game; He is fixing his setup's loopholes mid-game.
Bane doesn't update his Opening Post.
According to Clumsy, there are apparently events in the game. If they are anything close to my events, then these events would upset the already imbalance game that Bane is running.
This is what I assume could have happened:
Bane made addendum where Jester could fake their flip as another role.
There was an event that enabled Jester to fake their flip as another role.
There was an event that disabled Boater's Lynch-Immunity.
For starters, give mafia their Night Phase back. Your cycle has three phases, but you didn't specify when the mafia could faction kill, and there is no night phase.
Morning Phase == Day Phase + Question Phase, which is fine.
Afternoon Phase is pointless because you haven't specified what the players actually do to get which box.
Evening Phase =/= Night Phase because you didn't specify mafia faction kill, which sucks.
Having twelve 1-Shot abilities suck for both players and hosts. Period.
Let some of them be duplicates or duds.
Ah, Evening == Night, which has the obligatory mafia faction kill. Should the mafia have an always open group chat to give them an advantage? This way they can also coordinate for the Morning events.
For the Afternoon Phase, basically the players:
Decide on their order of priority in the game thread (needs to get plurality approval, else order will be randomized) For example: A will be first to choose, B second, C third, etc.
Send the host (in their role PM) the order of their preferred colored boxes before the Evening Phase (to make the box give-away faster). For example, player B will PM something like this: I want the red box first. If it already got taken, then I'll pick a colour in this order: blue, violet, green, brown, gold, etc.
Yup, there will be duds and duplicates. Haven't decided on the list of all available abilities yet.
