Tasks: Evacuate the Citizens, Fight off the First Wave
Location: North Zone

Arriving on the scene, Blaiz and Ruby immediately set to work. The plan of theirs was simple: find as many people as possible and teleport them to safety. Ruby would give some of her mana to Blaiz temporarily to assist the process, but first they needed to find people.

Knocking on the first door, the dragonkin was already feeling depressed. Some of the citizens couldn’t move due to the cold.

 

“Ruby, change of plans. We won’t have the strength required to move them and teleport them. As such, you’ll defrost them and guide them to safety as I work on covering your retreat. Got it?” Blaiz said as he drew his sword which immediately glowed with fire.

“Of course, Master! Leave it to me!” Replied the loli as flames flowed from her hands. She immediately set to work by having the tongues of fire slide over the residents of the house. As for her master, he was standing guard to make sure no one disturbed her.

 

[South Zone] - [Evacuate the Citizens]
Blasted! Another enemy attack?! An' tis time be from ice creatures? Bastards be hard to deal with. I ain't one that be accustomed to deal with 'em. I mean, me hometown might be cold an' all, but that be far from dealin with ice bastards. Aye, I be dealin with some, but not most of ta' time. Argh, whatever! Work be work, after all.

As I landed on the South Zone, I realized that some of ta' civilian already be on their way to the association building. It be good for me that they cou' walk there. But I cou' also see some trouble be brewin near us. Birds. They be trying to hurt 'em. Blasted! This be bad. Flying monsters be one of me weakness. I be a geomancer, ya know? Not used to dealin with 'em. But one need to do what one need to do.

"Get away from 'em, ye flying bastards!"

I shouted at ta' monster an' then raised a few pillars of earth. They dodged them. No surprise there. Aye, no surprise at all. But that be not me only trick. I quickly slammed ta' pillars with me hammer, transferin me magic to ta' pillars. What followed after that be pillars dozens of small earthen spikes launchin themselves at ta' flyin bastards. Some of em' got hit, while some just flew away.

"Quickly! Run as fast as ye can!" I shouted at ta' civilian. "Don't look back!"

I heard the emergency signal, "another attack?!" and hurried to escort the civillians, though I was a bit slower because one of the middle aged neighborhood looking ladies wrapped me in a huuge blanket. "We need to evacuate~!"

"Alright, Let's go fam"
The people who replied used such a strange word, though they started moving the the direction of the Shelters

 

[West Zone]
Task : Fight

Suddenly waking up due to the abrupt shock, Umbrum looked outside and noticed that the world seemed to be in ice and monsters seemed to be everywhere.

"Well, it is unexpected." Niris said as she created a ice pillar with a sharp tip and threw it at an Icy Bird who was partly destroyed by the pillar, then, she created another one to finish off the injured opponent.

"Mm. I will take care of the non magic creatures... Seems easier." Umbrum drew out his bow and began shooting arrows at the flying creatures, Eagles, Hawks...
Each time, the arrow sank into the neck and killed it on one shot.

"Let's keep this position for now."

 

While waiting for Ruby to finish her part, Blaiz watched the door praying that nothing eventful would happen. Alas, that was not to be. An Icy Bird Construct flew in through the doorway. Sighing, the dragonkin quickly shouted, "Mira, speed!" After which he flapped his wings and shot towards the construct, slicing it in half. The flames riding along the sword melting through it as it cried out.

"Ruby, how much longer?" He cried out as two more came out. Not having time to slash both, Blaiz casted Swift Flames to kill one as he melted the other one.

As the early morning chill reached the city, in a certain inn a Mahjarrat toyed around with an old decrepit book.

"To think that the Magic Association has enough power to make grimoires!"

Though they could not beat those of old, just having the capability of creating ones with just portion of the power told the terrifying might and potential the association has.

"Interesting, interesting." The Mahjarrat stared at the book like crazy. It was just a simple modified spell, however to him it was a pure treasure as it showed how the magic has changed after the ancient age came to an end.

"If I gather enough..." Soremad glanced at the Book of Old, which had accompanied him from the moment he was born.

"Perhaps, perhaps..."

*BAM!*

As the Mahjarrat was revelling in the sweet fantasy of regaining his former prowess, a small boy barged into the inn.

"What?!" Soremad said in a resentful tone.

"The boy looked at the old man in front of him as he trembled in fear." Because of the need for reconstruction after the sewer event, his parents were afraid that the robbers might take advantage of the situation. At that time, this wizard made a trade with them. Protection for having a place to stay. And that was the only thing he required. No meals, no drinks, no entertainment. Sometime, they had not seen him for several days straight. Was he even human? They asked.

The boy seemingly instantly overcame his fear and urged the wizard before him with crying face: "Mother, Father, Mother, Father, Mother, Father!"

"What the freaking hell are you crying for?" Soremad reluctantly closed the book and inquired.

However, the little boy just cried, cried and cried while mumbling some incoherent jargon. It was just right when Soremad was considering of kicking the boy out when Linda, his first demon reported something through their link.

Curious, the Mahjarrat looked over it and instantly, his face contorted. No questions asked, he picked up the crying baby and rushed out into the cold streets of the city.

The frost graced the windows and a thin membrane of ice covered the road. One snowflake after the other started to fall.

"Damn! Is not it supposed to be Easter? What the hell is with the Santa Clause!" The Mahjarrat promised himself that one of these days he will visit the North Pole and beat that jolly fat guy up!

Before long, he arrived in a dark alley. There a young couple tried to warm themselves behind a trash can having no strength to continue. The only thing they could do was to constantly tell each other stories in order to stay awake. They feared that the moment they stopped, one of them would be deprived of their significant other.

"Mother, Father!" The boy yelled as he rushed towards them. It seemed that the little cry baby could feel something might be wrong when his parents were not returning.

"Dave! W-w-w-h-a-t ar-a-are y-yo-u d-doin-g he-r-e-e-e?!"

Soremad approached the couple and touched their forehead while sending one mana wave after the other to inspect their bodies.

"Frostbite, and serious one at that. They have about seven hours at most." He mumbled under his breath.

It was only then, that he noticed the badge of MA was glowing. Curious about the situation, Soremad scanned it and soon both smiling and crying expression appeared on his face.

"Well, let's first get the nuisance away! Shoggy!"

Heeding his call, a tiny cute smile residing on his shoulder jumped into the middle of the street. The Od inside its body churned and boiled. In a span of seconds, the tiny little smile grew into the volume of a house. A mass of flesh, body parts, maws and eyes. A hand erupted from the mass and on its end a new one formed following by a leg, eye and other body parts. The tentacle like thing picked up the couple. After that a new tentacle formed and picked up other frost bitten people within the area.

 

[East Zone]
"What's all this Glace?", Sroska asked seeing birds made of ice flocking around Glace.
"Glace does not know. Glace found this critters wanted to play with ice. As such Glace started playing with ice with them. We even had an snowball competition." said Glace creating snowfall in the surrounding area. Seeing Sroska, some of the ice birdy things sent spikes and beams of ice towards her.
Sroska dived forward barely avoiding the incoming spikes. She hid behind Glace and shouted at him," Damn you blockhead. They are trying to kill us and not play with us. Just coz no attack can pass through your thick icy wind shield doesnt mean that they are playing with us. Now block all there attacks while I finish them."
Glace scratched his head in confusion. While he was tanking all the hits, Sroska casted small explosions destroying all the icy birdy things.
"Let's go and help the citizens for now. I just recieved news that it is an emergency through my badge."

 

[South Zone] - [Evacuate the Citizens/Fight Off the First Wave]
"Get 'em away, quickly!" I shouted at some of the local guard. "Before those bastards back!"

Right after I shouted that, some of 'em tried to attack the guards. I quickly swung me hammer, which missed those bastards' head. Blasted these birds! They be fast! Slippery too! Blasted! An' I cou' fly, so me reachin them be a difficult task. Unless....

"...Aye, tryin that idea then."

I took a deep breath an' put body enchantment spell on me own limbs after putting me hammer on me back. That way I cou' beat the hell out of 'em easier. That be me first step. An' now be the second one. Preparin the stage. I slapped me own palm together an' concentrated me own mana into one big point. After that, I slammed both of me hand onto the ground an' transfer me mana inside the earth. What happened next be the sight of multiple pillars sprouted from the earth. They have different sizes. That way I cou' climb on 'em an' reach those bastards. Not wantin to waste me time, I quickly reached me hammer an' me hatchet while jumpin from one pillar to another.

"Eat this!"

As I shouted, I jumped toward one of ta' closest bird an' smashed its head. Ta' bird managed to dodge it slightly, but I still managed to clip its wings. That be good enough fer me. Thanks to ta' platform, I cou' reach 'em much easily.

"....now that be a different bird," I said as I saw a strange flyin creature be covered in ice. "Aye, this be...bad...."

 

[South Zone] - [Evacuate the Citizens] [Preparation to deal with monsters]



Victor hear confusion outside. He finished his communication through his badge, it’s the first time that he sees this function in action, the last time he was away in a leisure trip in the forest and don’t participated in the defense of the city.

He together with I22 leaves the inn.

“Dammit… It appear that is flying monsters this time.”

“Calm down Master, you can set up formations to counter that.”

“I know, but it will take time to prepare, if I know of it earlier. I22, help protect the civilians that are going to the shelter.”

I22 goes running after group of civilians that are being attacked

“Hello” he begin a conversation with the association thought the badge “The association was any kind of measure against flying monsters? I will set up some formations that make the air currents chaotic to disturb flying. ”

‘Now I need to put them in secret locations, use the power of the cold mana that they are emanating against then. I wish I have other sources of mana or something other than chalk to write, I need to buy it later.’

 

[West Zone] - Evacuate the Citizens

Spoiler: Evacuation Part 2

While the monster broke into houses and picked one civilian right after the other, one of the tentacles extended upwards into the air and on it, the respectable old man stood and stroked his white beard as he observed the flying army approaching.

"We do not have much time! There is a need to leave soon!"

The Mahjarrat glanced at the mass of people held by the tentacles. They looked at him in veneration. Though scared of the monster, they had the full trust in the magic association and him as their member.

The Mahjarrat only shook his head upon seeing this and returned to observing the army of flying birds. If only they knew, if only they knew the real purpose of him doing this.

It was, to offset what he was about to do.

"There is no way to survive this." The Mahjarrat murmured. "But at the same time, can we escape?" Hopefully the MA would survive and he sadly had to do everything he could to make that happen.

"Helping people. Never thought I would do that one day!! The Mahjarrat mocked himself as he jumped to the ground.

"Time to move!" He shouted. Then he moved towards the HQ. Along the way, Shoggy picked up more and more people. From a distance, he appeared as a giant Christmas tree. One thing, however, was strange. The only ones Shoggy picked up were those below 40. Others, it seemed to completely ignore. No matter how wealthy they were, no matter what their social standing was, they were seemingly left to their own devices. Because of that, quite a few resentful glares pierced his body.

Soremad only chuckled to that. To what he was about to do, this was nothing. Hopefully though, the MA would only care about the results and would not punish him severely for his actions. Even if they were, he could always leave.

Nevertheless, the Mahjarrat along with the 'human tree' finally arrived at the HQ. Along the way some birds attacked, luckily though they were only the E ranked mob and the only thing, which happened was for some of the people to receive bruises and some shallow wounds. As for the lone stronger monsters, which sometimes appeared, the World of Illusion did the trick.

After arriving at the association, the guards quickly took over and led the civilians for safety after looking approvingly at the Mahjarrat.

Soremad engraved those expressions into his heart as he believed that he would not be able to see them for quite a long time.

 

[West Zone] - preparing

Spoiler: Mage is the One who Prepares

The Mage is the One who Prepares! That was true eons ago, is now, and will be in the future. True wizard prepares for any scenario and they have at the very least 5 backup plans for each. With enough cannon fodder and time, there is nothing they cannot beat! This is the only truth in this world!

Though this statement might be a bit overbearing, Soremad agreed. A preparation for a fight should be at the very least hundred times longer than the actual fight! That was something he believed in as every fight was decided before it had actually begun.

Perhaps, it was a bit too late now to prepare, but better something than nothing, right?

And so, the Mahjarrat along with Shoggy, who turned into a cute little slime to the astonishment of all guards at the HQ marched once more into the West Zone.

By choosing back alleys, barging through empty houses, the managed to keep the damage to the minimum. there was only one destination within their minds, the centre of the West Zone. The place where they started their rescue.

Were the saints returning to the place of their miracle or rather, murderers returning to the scene of their crime? The Mahjarrat himself placed the bets on the latter.

"After all, I only saved the people to reduce the public rage by a tiny bit!" He murmured under his breath as he opened the door to one of the houses.

It was empty, totally empty. Not even a speck of valuables. Not even a trace of metal. As long as it had a price, it was not there. The place was completely robbed.

The Mahjarrat did not stay to marvel at the sight and instead marched towards the basement. There, ten human bodies lied on top of a glittering pile of gems, precious tableware and rare pieces of furniture. Seven of them were already frozen solid. The rest, looked at him with both fear and hate in their gaze. One thing, they had in common. All of them were above forty years old.

Soremad did not say anything. He just proceeded further and casted of the shape-shifting revealing his true appearance of a mighty Mahjarrat. He took a dagger out of his pocked and...

*AAAH*

*HEEE--LLP*

pierced the trio's hearts under their agonizing shrieks. As the blood flew down the pile of valuables, the Mahjarrat pierced the ceremonial staff into the ground and started to chant.

"Komutativní zákon obecně neplatí!"

The valuables, bathed in the blood of their owners started to levitate.

"Řady se dělí na konvergentní a divergentní!"

The bloody valuables flew in the circle around the ten corpses.

"Divergentní se dělí na podstatně divergentní a oscilující!"

The ten human bodies started to rapidly decay and the tiny bits flew within the circle and arranged themselves in a tridecagram. It did not take long for all of the bodies to disappear.

"Konvergentní se dělí na absolutně a neabsolutně konvergentní!"

It was at this time that a shrill scream reverberated through the basement as ten mad souls appeared within the tridecagram. They glared at the Mahjarrat wishing that glares could kill.

Soremad, however, ignored them completely and instead focused on his chant.

"Pro každé kladné epsilón existuje kladné delta, takové, že pro všechna x náležící definičnímu oboru funkce průniku delta okolí bodu a mínus bod a, fuknkční hodnota bodu x náleží epsilín okolí c!"

As soon as the Mahjarrat finished the last chant, the souls quietened as they trembled in fear. A translucent bony giant hand descended from the ceiling of the basement, grabbed the souls and crushed them.

*AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!*

*DIEEEEEEE!!!*

*YOU MOOOOONSTEEEEEEEEER!!!*

Having finished their last words, the souls turned to a spiritual dust leaving only great grief behind. Finished with its task, the bony hand disappeared before pointing at the Mahjarrat as if it was saying "You are next!" The surge of mana calmed down and the Mahjarrat lifted up the ceremonial staff. The corpses, valuables and souls were gone. The only thing which remained and could prove the events which had just transpired was a radiating grey tiny ball levitating in the middle of the basement.

[West Zone] - preparing

Spoiler: Mage is the One who Prepares, part 2

The Mahjarrad nodded satisfyingly at his work and engraved runes on top of the walls to hide the mana fluctuation before heading towards another house.

That day, aside from the monster wave, another calamity graced the magic association. Though one can debate that it was for the greater good, it could not hide the fact that almost all of the civilians above forty years met their end.

The West Zone was getting more and more desolate. Only the monster birds flying above showed off their dominance to the few guards and wizards below. Occasionally, a flock of avians could be seen feasting on a flesh of a pitiful resident.

Because of those fights, even more corpses accumulated, and one shadow acting in the darkness, whenever he could marched and stole the birds' 'treasure' under their noses.

Some fights, however, were inevitable and wounds appeared on Shoggy's body. It was only thanks to the newly acquired spell Disaster that it could slowly nurse its health while its master was busy in dealing with all of the resentment.

Though, the Mahjarrat masked the mana waves as much as he could, the great accumulation of grief below the west zone still made the birds somewhat affected. Over the time, less and less of them could be seen flying above the West Zone and if some of them did, it was the stronger ones. The C rank monsters started to appear within the skies of West.

Below the desolate town, within various basements across the entire West Zone, grey lights flickered. Grief, sadness, killing intent, desire for vengeance, mindless slaughter. The concentration of negative energy in each and every one of them would make sick any ordinary human who came across them.

What was their use? What could they achieve against the ice bird? Will they be ironically a ray of light within the darkness and help the Association to survive or will they just be snorted at by the Ice Phoenix and completely disregarded?

[South Zone] - [Evacuate the Citizens]

I22 went to help the citizens. The opponents this time is problematic, being a melee fighter against flying creatures she doesn’t have the presence necessary to efficiently block the enemies. However she does what she can with her powerful body: removing a broken cart from the middle of the street, slaying monsters that are attacking people and releasing a man stuck below a collapsed wall.

 

[West Zone]
Task : Fight/Escort

"...This is never going to end like this..." There was just too much monster for them to kill them all, so what was the solution ? Of course, it was attracting and trapping the thing, the disaster that was making all those monsters coming.
Yes, that was... that bird which didn't land on the ground, however, he didn't know how to attract it, but honestly, he didn't know at all, so as for now, he would simply do what he can do... in other words, kill the minions while searching for a way to do that.

"Tch." As he continued to shoot arrows at the flying and harmless birds from there, they were approaching while Niris aimed at the Icy Birds with sharp ice pillars, she was constantly moving, from house to house, through windows, walking on shards of glasses, making noise, the arms extended and the spikes launched.
Meanwhile, Umbrum noticed something at the corner of the street, there were people running away from a storm of eagles, there were grandparents, parents and children. Immediately, Umbrum felt like he needed to help them, he ran toward them and began to shoot at the enemies that were following them to kill.

"Here !" He shouted as he approached them, he quickly used Edax Umbra on the ones that were too near, not completely to save up mana, they simply fell on the grounds, at the same time, Niris continued to hunt for the Icy Bird, throwing Ice Pillars at them, to make them fall and die when their bodies reach the ground.

"Mm." She was silent while she didn't even bother to look at Umbrum who was escorting people and trying to protect the people, slowly emptying his mana.

 

[North Zone] - [Evacuate the Citizens/Fight Off the First Wave]

"Over here, over here!" Guiding the civilians to the shelters, Amatsu sees the snowy landscape as the enemies are approaching them. "My first day joining and this is happening! What else could possibly go wrong!" Saying this as he's escorting them to the shelter, he sees some eagles attempt to attack some of the civilians.

Turning towards the eagle, he takes out his sword and wields it with his right hand. Aiming out with his left hand, his mana starts forming an array in front of him. After waiting for a couple seconds, he casts his spell.

"Light Arrows!" From the array appears 10 light arrows, launching towards the eagles. Right before they harm the civilians, the arrows penetrate their head, killing them instantly, dropping down to the ground, lifeless.

"Let's move! More are coming!" Knowing more are coming, he keeps guiding them to the shelters.

 

The Skies

The Phoenix flapped it's wings, as it observed the city below it, covered in hail and snow. From it's vantage point, it could see basically everything in the city, from all the skirmishes that were taking place, to the people that were furiously evacuating to the Association HQ.
Despite the initial success, things weren't going well on the ground. It's minions were being taken out by the dozens, and it couldn't really attack the HQ directly--The first time it tried, it got taught a painful lesson by the golems. Of course, it had destroyed all of them, but it wasn't about to risk another try.

"CAAAAAAAAAAAAAW!"

Well, if attacking the HQ wasn't going to work, then there was only one thing to do...It turned it's purple irises towards the combatants in the city, preparing a large AOE spell in it's talons.

Fwoooosh.

Before it could fire off that spell, however, it was interrupted. The Phoenix swerved to dodge a barrage of thrown lances, completely made of water. As a result, the spell it was casting vanished. Enraged, it tucked it's wings, and dived, plummeting like a blue comet.

Atop the Association HQ's Roof

"Well, so much for a surprise attack. I was hoping one of them would hit, at least."

A girl was perched on the HQ's roof, muttering to herself, as she gripped the staff in her hand. She watched as the Phoenix dived, aiming for a very specific place---the Mayor's house.

"Oh, well. It's his fault for insisting on building his house in the middle of the city. Never liked him much, anyway."

Banter aside, there was the issue of the Phoenix. She heard that it was a magical beast that used to guard the North, but chances were that something had corrupted it. She could see the faint traces of purple around the pure blue Ice Magic that surrounded the Phoenix.

"...Well, I reckon getting it back to it's senses is impossible, so we're going to have to beat it up the old fashioned way."

Sighing, she reached for her coat pocket, taking out a small association badge, before activating the magic within.

"All Association Mages in the city---"

The Raid has entered Phase 2
​

Progression: The Phoenix has destroyed the Mayor's House in it's dive, and has claimed that area as it's own nest. As such, when the Phoenix is in range of it's own nest, it's Defence is higher. Currently, it is blasting away with magic, but it CAN be targeted with magic, in return. Of course, if it's nest is destroyed, the Phoenix will have no choice but to switch to melee attacks over it's superior magic attacks, because it (figuratively) will become a sitting duck otherwise.

No change to rules that were stated in Phase 1, except that now, the City is no longer divided into zones. With Nadia's help, mages can contact each other through their association badges, allowing for much better cooperation and coordinated attacks.

2 New Tasks are available.

Clear the Horde (Limited Time Group Task, No Upper Limit on Members, Rank E)
The way to the nest is filled with Rank E enemies, though not as numerous as before. Still, if the Phoenix is allowed to continue sitting in it's Nest, it will call out even more enemies of E-C ranks, and that will be extremely annoying. Therefore, you have to clear out the hordes, and this time, each horde follows a very specific system.

• 1 C-Rank
• 4 D-Ranks
• 16 E-Ranks

At least 1 horde is required to be taken out before the next quest is unlocked.

Destroy the Nest (One-Time Group Task, No Upper Limit on Members, Rank E)
Now that the defenders have been thinned, the Nest is open for attack. The Phoenix is still blasting away with spells, making it dangerous to approach, but you can see a girl setting up magic formations on the roof of the surrounding houses. Powerful long-range magic. However, to prevent the Phoenix from targeting the spell formations, a distraction is needed.

The Nest has to be blasted 3 times with the spell formation before it crumbles and the Raid enters Phase 3. Taking out more hordes in the earlier task will decrease the likelihood of a sudden attack by the defending hordes.

 

Task: Evacuate the Citizens, Clear the Horde
Location: North

Finally getting the first resident defrosted, Blaiz realized that they would never get anywhere with this. There were way too many people to evacuate with just him and Ruby! Deciding a new plan, Blaiz asked, “Ruby, how large of a spell can you make to defrost people?”

Blinking a bit in consideration, Ruby answered. “I can probably defrost people in a fifty meter radius since the heat of the flames required isn’t that high. It’ll take time to defrost them, though.”

“That’s fine. I can guard you for however long it takes. I’m not good for much else, after all.” Blaiz said with a solemn smile. “I’ll head out to kill some of the growing monsters.”

“Okay, I’ll join you soon!” Replies the elemental. Flames then burst out from her body. They were like long tongues of flame that stretched out from her, searching for humans to warm. Each one gave off a pleasant warmth that wouldn’t burn anyone.

Seeing that, Blaiz left the building, watching its resident flee. He then took to the skies, ready to fight the oncoming horde of enemies.

Thinking that he won’t be able to do this alone, the dragonkin calls out in a loud voice through his badge, “This Blaiz in the north district! I’ll need some help clearing the way to the nest. Any help is appreciated!”

 

[South Zone]-[Clear the Horde ; Destroy the Nest]
Blasted be this ice monsters! They be harder than their comrade. Blasted, I say! Ta' only good side be that they thought I'm weak. They dived right to me while shootin ice magic at me. Troublesome lot! Good thing I be standin on me platform. I cou' raise ta' earth to make more an' more barrier to protect me. An' that also served as another thing.

"Closer...closer...Ha! Gotcha, ye bastards!"

One of 'em dived right toward me, all beak an' claw. The moment it be closer to me, I slammed me hammer onto the barrier, makin spikes sproutin from ta' platform. Sound of the monster being stabbed to death be music to me ears. An', as I expected, more of its comrade be trying to kill me after that. Aye, they be angry, eh?

"Come and get some, ye bastards!"

I readied me hammer after imbuing it with me magic. The moment one of 'em got close to me, I swung me hammer. This time, the hammer meet the bastard head on, literally. Although be not enough to smash 'em to pieces, that be enough to make 'em fall to the platform. The moment it hit the platform, I smashed me feet onto the platform an' large spikes shattered it to pieces. Not wantin to waste time, I climbed the spike an' jump right toward that last one, It dodged me an' retreat with some of the birds. Blasted!

Huh? Pyro lad, eh? Needin help, I suppose. Well, i cou' help 'em. But north district? By the forge! That be on the other side of the city! Blasted! But....this be a bad idea. But it be effective. Lad, you owe me a drink!

"Loghaic here, lad! Be there in a bit! Look fer the flyin dwarf!"

Aye, I be flying. Sad that Adiana cou' not help me wi' that. It be easier if she be with me. Don't know what happened to her. Bah! Enough, time to work. I put more mana into me feet an' into the platform. An' then I went straight runnin on top of ta' extendin pillar. I alternate between jumpin on top of ta' nearby roof an' also usin me spikes. After a while, me eyes landed on a large crowd of bird. Aye, that be the one I need to kill.

"Time to fly," I said as I let out a grin. To be honest, not the best idea. But then again, it be the faster.

I jumped onto the ground an' then raised a pillar that make me cou' almost see 'em on a similar height. I then put me feet an' hand on to ta' platform I just made. With a larger amount of mana, I make a large pillar sprouted in a fast speed, pushin me toward the bird!

"EAT THIS, BASTARDS!!!!! LOGHAIC IRONSKIN COMIN THROUGH!!!"

As I shouted toward 'em, I activated me ironskin spell, makin me whole body turned into iron. While on ta' air, I be swingin me hammer an' hatchet, killin some of the unfortunate birds. But rest assured, killin them be not me goal. Makin them look at me be me goal! Aye! An' in a few seconds, me whole body hit the nearby building. The sound of impact filled me earhole also a few pain here an' there.

"*cough* Aye, need to work on ta' landin," I said as I stood up. "Oy, pyro lad! You're on! They be concentratin on me!" I shouted into me badge.

Aye, they be closin up on me. Time fer some hunt, ye bastards!

Character:Cadmium and Yvrrainne
Tasks:Rescuing citizens and fight off the first wave.
Location: North (sewers)
"What another attack on the city? This is quite ridiculous isn't it? Ohh well I guess I had better help out by bringing people into the safest area at the moment. THE SEWERS!."
"Skree skree."
"What is that you don't think the sewers are all that safe anymore? Well that is completely wrong especially since I have been building up a small water rat defence brigade down here to help with my sleeping conditions."
Cadmium proceeds to head to the surface of from the sewer entrance which he was sleeping by. Looking for citizens he notices hawks and icy bird conatructs circling his exit point so Cadmium proceeds to throw lightning bolts at the hawks and his big metal pole at icy bird construct.
Dropping the birds to the ground Cadmium prepares to turn them into water birds getting ten but noticing that they keep on freezing over because of how weak they are Cadmium leaves them alone only taking the strongest hawk with him which can still actually fly. 5 of the other hawks are killed by vultures flying around but the remaining 4 successfully enter the nice warm sewers.
"Hey you you need to be more careful about how you fight! You almost killed someone!" (Yvrrainne)
"Okay and how else is one supposed to smash those ice constructs huh? Letting them smash into you and the pummelling them to death?"(Cadmium)
"If you can't dodge them or break them with magic then yes why not?" (Yvrrainne)
"Doesn't matter let us just get these civilians to safety okay." (Cadmium)
Cadmium then picks up the rod turns around and walks back towards the sewers that he exited a few moments before.
"Head in here please and atick with the rats until you get to one of the associations bunker entrances down there. You will know you are there when the rats can't go further."(Cadmium)
Cadmium turns around and says "come along missy there is more people to find and rescue and things to kill near the lords mansion.
