I was more interested in how they were talking about the differences in their magic tech and Heim's, that was something Heim should have been desperate for... That and how proud they (er Grandpa) were Ain had awakened that gift of training or whatever it was called skill so young.
Doubtful. It’s one thing to want to steal another country’s tech, but succeeding would bring about an invasion...and that battleship looked
No need to steal, when you have a connection that can be leveraged to get them to (slowly) give you the knowledge or at least access to its products. Kind of like the one they had before an uppity Earl decided to screw with the deal because he could not see beyond the battlefield, as opposed to looking a all the political benefits off the battlefield.
I’d doubt that a superpower would be willing to give up any part of the technology that is fundamentally crucial to their national interest. Like the US sharing nuclear technology with...India? But yeah, that earl is in for a really rough time...according to the spoilers already posted.
New chapters! Ain’s mom is the best! Sewing? Pffffttt!! oh yeah, the Roundharts....they really are THAT stupid!!!
It seems like most of their nation (including the crown for the sperm donor to try this) is not any smarter. But ya they did not even bother to ask about the skills economic potential. It is not a skill their familiar with and the sperm donor's mother called it a loss immediately based on name alone, while grandpa immediately started going on about how it could be used... Just shows the differences in attitudes and how they affected the national development. That Olivia did not care about the skill and still loved him should have been a huge red flag she knew something they did not, instead they slandered her son so he could have no life in their nation. Spoiler the grandma basically just assumed it was identical or nearly identical to a skill with a similar name which is not broken, a useful skill but not a warrior's primary skill. as if she did not even ask what the extra letters in the name changed. I mean who looks at a superior in EVERY area nation, who keep getting further and further ahead of you, has someone who knows the source of that difference of strength and growth marry into your nation, and instead of trying to charm some of the secrets out of her, even if only the very basics to start the growth since fully catching up would not be reasonable, blatantly disrespects her and makes sure she will not be sympathetic to your nation even going as far as to break some of the terms of the agreement that lead to her being there in the first place (like her kid being the heir of he family). Or just making 2 people who could easily end up high in the order of succession of a vastly more powerful nation hate your nation... Fine you will never get everything but should be able to get enough of the basics to start a period of growth that would massively improve the wealth and quality of life in their nation over the decades. Heck that the nation apparently never did any proper research into people gaining new skills is bad, one would assume it must have happened from time to time by accident, and they did not even look into it (or notice) ???
Do I read it right?? the mom never sleep whit the "father" and her son is her perfect "companion" that she created.. and she is whaiting for him to grow up to ravage him?!?!?
They put the Demon King's magic stone in the audience hall while the Dullahan's was kept hidden. What bullshittery is this?
Everyone knew about the Demon King, as it was part of the history of the empire. Dullahan subjugation was kept under wraps to not panic people?
she never slept with the father indeed. She created her son using her own body or something like that. I am not sure that he will be her preferred companion, but it does seem like that's where it's going. Also, it is not stated that the companion has to be sexual, I think. They share the life force or something like that. Actually, manga is out and is pretty close to the LN. And this info is already there and released. All of it is pretty much true
