Technically, the translator usually has a fixed schedule. At the given time, usually I hang around the spoiler page until it changes intro a real page. You refresh around once every 20 seconds. It only takes a minute or so. If in 2 minutes the pages doesnt change, usually I bail out. PS: If you see some really dedicated nutjob, usually they use bots for these kind of things....
You know what happens if you press F5 ??? you simply open the next chapter an refresh until it's there I wrote one but it's no fun
RSS feeds. Sometimes, I'm on my wordpress feed the moment the translator releases. Getting "First" is fun but so lonely. I rather wait till there are a few comments.
i used to be a member of f5 sect in ATG branch but i retired. back then ATG had a release schedule of around 9pm in my timezone so at 9 i just sit in front of my computer and spam reload

F5 sect are just guys who have lots of time in to watch their RSS feeds and emails and continue refreshing pages.
We analyze the pattern of the translator. After a while, we develop a sort of spidey sense. We could be doing anything, but once the chapter posts, we lift our head and look towards our computer or phone and mysteriously say "Its time".
