Hey, I saw the anime to Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei years ago and really love it. I always hoped for some harem-romance development including his "sister". Finally i even start reading the novel and got to the point when the family of them want the silblings to marry. I was so damm happy at that time, but soon after it all did go down. He still didn't saw his sister as love interest, and there was quite some sad stuff regarding another girl who was totally in love with him but he turnt her down. Some time has passt since i read the books, so i was wondering if someone could tell me the sittuation that the novel is in right now? Is there any development in the direction i hope for? Or is it getting sadder and sadder with time? Already thanks a lot in advance =D
The wikia for the series goes through major details of all the light novels. I'm guessing that the character pages are also relatively up-to-date as well. I haven't been keeping up with it so I don't know much outside of the point in which you mentioned already.
I used to read mahouka up to volume 19-21 if I remember correctly. Then I stopped reading it because... spoilers... In essense, It lost its brilliance, mystery, and action.
Sadly the wiki doesn’t tell much and it feels that many information are only up to date to volume 16/17. But in general it's hard to find those information I’m looking for in character sheets (beside the official relationship between him and his sister but even in this point it was only mentioned that they are fiancé) Well, maybe i will have luck to find someone who read the novel later ^^ But thanks you two for the answer =D
I'd actually like to know about this as well. I've read up to 12 but put off reading any more because i want to see how long til anything actually happens regarding the romance.
Haha, yeah, the story is great overall, and i really loved this magic system and the mc... but there is just something missing without romance :x And since him and his sister are soo cute together... i really wished for something there. Spoiler: Romance Spoiler Someone told me, that they will be fiancé later on so i started reading, and they actually did, but as i said before... nothing happend after that... his sister was really cute then but he didn't react at all and even did turn her down... and then the "sad" romance part with other girls started :& really hope for some sweet and fluffy romance there ^^
