Having a pet is basically stealing an animal from its biological mother and forcing it to live with yourself. Then, you want said pet to love you in order for it to receive food and shelter. #MakePetsGreatAgain
And your point is...? Are you one of those hypocrites from PETA who equate pet ownership with slavery, but put down 80% of the animals they "save"?
Yes. Though I'm pretty sure that my pet is the master and I'm the slave. Imagine having someone give you food, brush your hair, clean your shit, and let you sleep whenever you want. ^ is this not a good life?
Lot more atrocious acts are committed against animals by humans. Thousands of male chicks are crushed alive everyday in poultry farms as they are deemed useless. There are lot more similar events happenning everywhere. Having a pet and taking care of it properly can provide you with some sense of belonging and love and also provide decent home to pets. So all in all this is not one of the more atrocious acts committed by humans against animals.
well your way of thinking would be the worst way i ever seen. unlike human, pet accepts their own master, while if you put human in that same place, it would be either a slave, or someone that would do your house chores.
What if the mom already died due to a irresponsible driver and you don't want to see the little kitten suffer so you take it home and raise it even though the kitten loves you now and doesn't hiss at you anymore, it still goes to where it last saw it's mom waiting for his mom to return What if that happened , then can I keep a pet? By the way this didn't happen to me but a relative
Animals are not human. Just because taking a human away from their parents when they are young can cause the kid to be scarred for the rest of their life and damage them mentaly doesnt mean its the same with animals. With animals, dogs and cats in particular since we're talking about pets they dont give a fuck about their 'parents' they couldnt care less. For them the person that feeds them the most is their parent so you're not taking them away from their parents, YOU are BECOMING their new parent. Ps: none of this was researched im just bored so i decided to write whatever came to mind chances are im correct anyway so whatever.
