    I remember reading about the different banners (Manchu & Han) when the mc got drafted for the Selection of Imperial Concubines.
    She married the Ninth? Prince as a concubine.
    She gave birth to 2 sons & became a cefei.
    There was also a phase where the prince brother's son came to stay with them for awhile because the mother wasn't taking care of him.

    Nope, I know that 1 quite well since it's so popular.

    But mine, she started out as a small concubine. The prince has a wife.
