    I still think it is karma for Dex because of how much they mocked other sites that went down previously.

    Similar to what happened earlier in the week, it looks like they're assuming the user database might have been breached again. It's a good idea to change your password on any site where you used the same password that you use on MangaDex.

    On the upside, I can get caught up on some LNs that I haven't had time to read.

    I'm wondering, the other big site that hoasts manga...one I shall not name. It went down at the exact same time, right? Could this mean they've been hacked too? And that they're just not telling us because they don't wanna lose their reputation?

    Since they promised v5 would be a PWA, I assume for the next version we'll no longer need to have accounts to access features like dark mode and bookmarks. It'll better that way since I'm no longer interested in keeping on logged in to their website anyway.

    Well, there are plenty of mangas that are stolen directly from official sources though... >.>

    Not to mention the ones that are uploaded directly to aggregators instead of directly to mangadex...

    Initially the alternative site i use to read manga got their uploads affected but it has now pick-up the pace (well for some series) but still not the same.
