Most people want agree but I find Cheese In the Trap's artstyle to be really beautiful and consistent, a plus is that I like the story's natural and realistic slowbuild, probably until now I'm searching of similar stories, please let me know if anyone has recommendations. For Romance there's: True Beauty Mystique Winter Woods Pale Horse Which are among the best drawings I saw, but I only like Winter Woods and Pale Horse's stories, the others just a bit absurd or out of a middle schooler's train of thought. For Action/Fantasy: Noblesse Girls of the Wild Lookism Solo Leveling All of which with also amazing stories, I would say.
Ohh! Looks cool. Yea, I asked for good art but story is still the most important factor in keeping me interested. (Seeing how I dropped Suddenly Became a Princess thing even though it's some of my favorite art I've ever seen.) Will check them out. I know all the ones in the Action/Fantasy section. But I don't think I've heard of the Romance section ones other than True Beauty (and I agree with you I don't like that one's story either).
I was about to lock it for necro when I realized the OP is still active and accepting more recs. Great thread.
Haha, well one just doesn't stop reading manhwas you know? This is an evergreen thread since its about something that has a wide range and will always be more of as time goes on. But its fine to lock it if you want. I got a ton out of it so this thread has done its duty.
Wait, is that a manhua or manhwa? The aesthetics and whatnot look like its from ancient China. (Unless ancient Korean aesthetics are similar...which would make a lot of sense.) If its a manhua I don't think I've ever seen one with such great art! They usually suck at the art department.
The best art I've seen in a manhwa is from Sword Sheath's Child. Though I gotta say its art compensating for the confusing story that mainly due to lack of introduction for the characters. My other recommendations are : Legend of the Northern Blade, its stylistic art might not be everyone's favorite, but as a manhwa it works well. Not to mention that it's well written. Limit Breaker, the monsters here are more detailed than most manhwa. So yeah, better looking monsters. Actually, there are a bunch of them that I feel have art on the same level as Solo Leveling. Like Unholy Blood, Worn and Torn Newbie, Mercenary Enrollment, Legend of Mir : Gold Armored Dragon, etc.
Oh wow, that's a lot! I'll check them out. Never thought I'd get so many recs 2 years after creating the thread. lol
-Beware of the Villainess (soo memeable) -Extraordinary You/July Found By Chance (everything here is beautiful). -True Beauty
Ohh! Thanks. I was just refreshing my mangadex page again and again cause I had nothing to read. Perfect time! I haven't heard of Volcanic Age before so I'll try that out.
I read TOCF from that list. Didn't think it had THAT great art really though. Just about average I guess? I'll check out the others.
