Discussion Maplestory 2 (East Coast Server)

Is anyone planning to play MS2 when it comes out (Oct 1st for people who bought founders pack/Oct 10th for those who didn't)? Was wondering if anyone wanted to be friends with me so we could raid/dungeon together later.

For now, they only have royale out but if anyone wants to add me, my ign is Ritsu.

 

Ah i fondly remember how the first game ate mty bank account untill there was nothing left... i can't play that game i have to be a responsible adult and pay my bills, that won't happen when all my money disappears

 

One of my few regrets from switching to a Mac eleven years ago is no longer being able to play MapleStory. (╥﹏╥) My poor little tiger pet must be so lonely. They’re coming out with a 2 now?

 

MMOs are too addictive for me so I've learnt to stay away from them.

 

What's the combat, class progression, and endgame like?

 

Maybe, I'll probably play on an NA server since EU servers always suck. So I'd probably play on an East Coast server since it's closer to EU.

With that said, I'm not so sure I'll play the game that much or for long, and I'd probably not be doing much "hardcore" gaming such as raiding. My impression has been that the main appeal of Maple Story 2 is going to be the minigames, housing, and so on rather than "endgame".

 

Been playing on east but got tired of the dungeon grind.
