I wanted to read the portal of wonderland but the awful xianxia world translation put me off

and yes, Xianxiaworld ruined the translation. That's what you get when the translator is fluent in Chinese but doesn't know much English.

 

Genkai is the romaji for this ---> 玄界.

 

Looks like a profitable job(even though most of these novels are just meh in my eyes)

 

If you guys think you can help with the translation... editing the series, please do send an e-mail to xianxiaworld. I'm a part of realms in the firmament and I can confirm that there's a certain difficulty if the translator isn't really that good with english and for those that are so much more badly posted, it would be great if someone would help xianxiaworld.

I did write there but they didn't like me and got emergency editor + question never got answer after that so can't exactly say why they got no editors.

 

couldn't help it. I've been reading one of the series in xxw and it just stopped because it has no editors. I'm tied with ritf and college that's why I couldn't do anything about it. Maybe this sort of advertisement could help. xxw badly needs editors... if you want a clue... a chapter takes us about 4-5 hours of editing and consulting so that we won't mess up what the author want to convey.
