hey guys, can anyone of you suggest me a novel where the mc doesn't always appear on time to save the day? this is really frustrating me especially in ATG where YC always goes missing and comes back just in time to save the day that its too incredibly convenient. and what really annoys me is before he goes missing he's too weak to handle the antagonists, then when he goes missing some conflict arises where his side is loosing and he arrives in the middle of the climax just in time to save them after a convenient power up. its getting too repetitive that its annoying how convenient everything is. example: spoilers(maybe?) when YC was in the phoenix shrine trying to forcefully comprehend 5th and 6th ode and finishing in time just to save Cang Yue from those bandits. when he gets trapped in sword villa and escapes just in time to save Cang Yue from killing herself in the wedding. Spoiler when Yun and Mu clan are fighting against Huai family and goons, where YC mom is about to charge at Huai(which i assume she fails and is about to be killed and YC just arrives on time AGAIN to save her) I think there's more events like this but i didnt remember it or something but yeah things like that basically i want a novel where when the mc goes to power train he either comes back either before or after a conflict is done. i.e. there's a war so mc either arrives before it starts or when it just finished.
Ah.......well........ Kumo Desu ga, Nani ka? The MC only saves someone once, and she DELIBERATELY waiting for the shit to hit the fan and to jump in at the last moment. The excuse was "It's more dramatic"
Just read novels by good Chinese authors like TJJS, Wang Yu, Er Gen, Fenglin Tianxia, cocoon cow and as for individual novels Ze Tian Ji, World of Cultivation and The Magus Era. IET and Tian Can Tu Duo both tend to be a little ATG ish but they are better but as you don't like those kinds of novels I'm just going to exclude these 2.
you really don't know how to use the spoiler aren't you. i heard Kuro no Maou is pretty dark. i've read a few of the early chapter, seems like a normal person with less armor made of plot-nium.
It is dark and translator is pretty inconsistent as well. Just a warning every single character around MC either dies or has a dark side that is pretty much how dark it is. So everyone around him are obsessive, treacherous and plotting except pretty much 1 character.
i really don't know how to use the spoiler thingy thats why i just wrong the spoiler note something. i've already read KNM and i already dropped it cause the mc is a gentle pussy :3 thanks for the suggestions i've read IETs and i hate how repetitive the content is -_-
