The story is basically; MC gets reincarnated/woke up as a strong dude (political or physical wise). MC gains the memories of the previous hosts body and starts to do shit.

There was no harem. Thats something I remember clearly.

Ah no, as far as I am aware, the novel is an original, and has unfortunately been dropped.
Btw, if you are going to read it, the story is really entertaining until about cp50, after which it went downhill (I assume that the author ran out of ideas at that point before finally dropping it).
