Even if he's high IQ low EQ,it may apply when there is one girl and she is reserved with her hints,otherwise nope,I don't buy it.
Just to tell you, almost no girl will hit you with obvious hints. They will just be very subtle unless it's a Yandere from a novel. So it's not quite unrealistic from a rational view. Sure in novels they're described as fidgeting around, blushing and so on, but in reality it isn't really like that. They will just smile at you more often, talk to you and maybe prank you, if they're more bold.

You have grown tired of the harems in novels, manga and anime that is cliche and often times unsatisfying, but still love the genre (like me). Not being able to find a good harem in a long time, possibly never found one, you hallucinated or your mind has twisted your memories just to satiate your hunger and thirst for a good harem story.
