Recommendations MC turns from good to evil/gets broken

How about falling star of evolution even though it's not a CN it matches the mc ends up going dark close to the start

 

Well, a lot happens but in Renegade Immortal, he is very normal at the start then by a succession of events, he gradually get broken

although only the 1st book that worth to read

 

God Of Slaughter he cultivates an evil technique giving him thoughts of murder and...., manages to retain his original self through some lucky chances

 

Let me put it this way, practically every chinese novel the MC is evil, they will always go on disproportionate revenge, oh yeah the outer disciple of this sect offended me, lets kill the entire sect, because we cannot leave any root, almost all of them end up raping a female, either because they like her or because they were "attacked" by an aphrodisiac, and the tropes continue on that vibe, it is far more rare to find a MC who is truly good, most chinese novels, the MC is evil and broken.

 

Preferably CN because I can't read JP or KR unless the novel has finished translating
And I prefer CN MCs

That's why I'm asking if there is any...
I want it to be CN because I like the 'evil type' that CN authors usually write + I can read CN.

While I generally prefer evil MCs (I really don't like justice and all that crap because I've seen too many beta JP ones) I like it when these 'justice goody kind-hearted' people get broken mentally and become evil and murderous.
So I'm asking for a novel with a goody righteous guy who is really nice, and turns evil. Maybe join the demonic faction or become the demon sect leader, whatever.

God Of Slaughter he doesn't start off nice. Hell all that authors work start out like shit tbh.

Like most people said Xian Ni dude was the nicest person. He turned into a Kenshiro but in a more ruthless way.

 

It's not CN, but fits your description perfectly:
Nidome no Yuusha
It's an ex hero who gets summoned, defeats the demon king and is betrayed by the kingdom who summoned him.
He gets a second chance and decides to go and kill and torment everyone who betrayed him.
Summoned Slaughterer is practically the same with the addition of an own kingdom building in addition to that and no second chance, but the mc is like that from the beginning.

Well since everyone is saying Nidome no Yuusha I'll put into my watch list

 

Chronicals of Tarrin Kael, its original novel, and he gets transformed from human to something like a werewolf( not saying what cuz is spoiler) and has emotional probs with the changes and the way yhe people react. He gets pretty fucked up. But he will end up somewhat closer to normal in the end. Btw, its my fav novel and its freaking epic.

Blades and Bonds on RRL

 

That's one of my favorite moves as wel. Fel is a genius.

Only problem I have with it, is that

He NEVER DIES. There are like three scenes where he technically dies, but for some bullshit reason he comes back and ruins the entire plot.

 

The Dungeon Seeker is basically an Arifureta re-skin, except darker and more interesting imo.

Nidome no Yuusha obviously as it's entirely based on an MC going bat-shit insane after being betrayed.

Terror Infinity is an interesting one in that the MC goes from naive/idealized to pragmatic/ruthless over a very long period of time, it's one of the few CNs out there that actually has a decent amount of character development from my point of view. It's not quite as cut and dry as event + MC = good -> evil, but he slowly shifts from a white knight into something more grey.

Paradise of Demons and Gods has a pretty ruthless MC.
Sovereign of Judgement's MC tries avoiding fighting for most of his school life resulting in bullying. A calamity brings out his ruthless side and he proceeds to kick the world's ass.

Spirit Realm's MC has a pretty stark personality shift at one point in the novel as a result of him recovering some lost memories, that might be your cup of tea.

Zhanxian's got a little bit of that 'reincarnated MC has become ruthless' thing.
