I'm looking for some Novel's where the MC's Power/Cheat/System etc etc, Don't match up with the genre of the Story they are in. Sci-fi Tech in a Cultivation novel, Cultivation in a RPG/Game World, Magic in a world without Magic. Etc etc, It doesn't HAVE to be these, but you get the idea. What I am looking for is something where the MC's ability is completely Alien to the world/setting they are in. So not just like someone having a strange or unique Cultivation method in a Cultivation novel, but rather they're not Cultivating AT ALL, rather they work on some other completely different system, even If the other people of that world/setting might confuse it for such (though we as the reader know its not). EDIT: I should mention, this should be in regards to what is in their actual setting/world. So nothing where there are things like Magic, Super power, Cultivation etc etc all in the same world. Rather its something totally outside of the "Normal" setting. NOTES: 1): Decent Length (30+chapters or 2-3 Volumes, depending on chapter length), and/OR being actively translated (Has been updated in the last 1 - 2 months). I.E. I don't want something with 10-15 chapters that's not been updated since August 2016, but something with 5-10 chapters that's been update Mid Jan/Feb (or even the start) is perfectly fine. 2): No Hentai/Smut. Adult themes/Scenes are fine, but no blatant smut (I.E. a bedroom scene just for the sake of smut). 3): Harem tag is fine, but No Polygamy.

The devil's cage is kinda what you're looking for. The MC goes around to different worlds and not all of them have the same power system. He keeps whatever power he learns in previous worlds and can use them in other worlds albeit with certain restrictions on firearms. However as of chapter 900, Spoiler there's only modern technology, bloodlines, Gods (faith), and mystical knowledge. Mystical knowledge pretty much covers everything from potions to spells to demon summoning.
Bu Sha (a.k.a. Kill no More) - top assassin from a ninja / qi-using world transfers dimensions to start a new life after he swears off killing anyone. He ends up in a world with sci-fi mecha warriors, holy knight-paladins, and magic-using dragons all co-exist. Trying to fit in to this new world, he gets scammed into enrolling in a battle academy. Completely translated at 13 volumes.
Sorry, not looking for something with a mix of powers, but something like Manuke FPS where their power is totally alien to the setting. (also, its not been updated in a long time)
Like I said, I'm not just like someone having a strange or unique Cultivation method in a Cultivation novel, but one where what they are using/doing is completely alien to the setting/World. If he was using the chip to do something like Cultivate NeoHuman superpowers in the magic world, that would be an example of what I am looking for, but rather he's just using the same magic system as everyone else.

I've seen a couple of novels where the setting is Zombie Apocalypse, and everyone that doesn't become a zombie develops the traditional element powers in response (fire, wind, etc. system). However, MC has a completely different game system instead. In one of them, he uses attacks that are based off his MMORPG character he played in his past life instead. I lol'd when the other characters couldn't make any sense/categorize his powers. But I can't recommend these novels to you because 1) I don't remember their names and 2) they're not fully translated. Sorry that didn't help but just know that Apocalypse + Game System combo is a pretty popular mix out there. TLDR: I'm useless. Good luck finding more of what you need though. Peace out.
Kind of? I've seen a few like that as well. It normally depends on the MC's power's sorce. A lot of times, its just a strange evolution, but falls under the same rules as everyone else (Like using Zombie cores to level up/grow), rather than being something totally different.
Yeah. I understand what you're getting at. I've seen those as well. But no, these ones have it where MC can't even use the zombie cores that everyone else can and has to grind zombies to "level up" and get "exp" instead to advance his powers. I'm sure someone on NUF has seen these novels before. Then again, I do seek out Zombie Apocalypse ones as that's one of my favorite genres...
