It would be useful to know which language you're MTLing but I'm guessing it's Korean (I only know Chinese MTL stuffs)

I don't speak Korean, so I could easily be mistaken here, but here are some common MTL errors I've found:

    * 공작 = Can apparently mean either Peacock or Duke, but Duke is the more likely meaning in novels.
    * 아아 = Iced coffee or Aa (just an "ah" sound, which is why it becomes unintentionally hilarious when characters exclaim "iced coffee!" during love scenes). "Aa" is an abbreviation for Iced Americano, hence the "iced coffee" translation.
    * 공자 = Confucius (the Chinese philosopher), but can also mean Young Master / Young Lord (i.e, the son of a noble family).

They're not really incorrect translations as the words can have several meanings depending on context. But Google Translate often seems to favor contemporary meanings that aren't likely to appear in rofan novels.

Disclaimer: I don't speak Korean, so I could easily be wrong here. :)

But like your crush said above, 하 means "ha", which seems to mean "below/under/lowest/last" or just a "ha" sound like a sigh. If it's repeated like 하하하, it can be "hahaha" laughter.

I often see it at the beginning of sentences in MTL, so I'm guessing that it's usually a sigh sound there.

No. Open the site in chrome then it will get automatically translated into a language of your choice.

This entire thread has been one of the most USEFUL for reading translated knovels. THANK YOU! I've spent the last freaking day trying to figure out what the heck "iced coffee" was supposed to be and now I'm just going to cackle madly with laughter every time I see it.

I was troubled with "under". I be Like what the he'll does under mean. Is the character telling to "look under" which makes no sense.and finally just figured that it meant "ha"
    *a sigh*.
