Can someone recommend me a novel with a mentally ill MC they can have any mental illness as long as they're not mentally stable. They can have depression, anxiety, autism, ocd, paranoia, and schizophrenia, etc.... Thank you.

I rarely read BL, I only know Stalking Killing (Manhwa) that fits your description.

 

Thanks for recommending this but I'd rather read the most tragic novel out there then read killing stalking that manhwa scares me.

Yes, I agree with you that manhwa is really scary. At first, I was hesitating if I should read it but after I tried to read a few chapters of it, I later realize I can't stop reading it. The story is really great but the ending gave me heartache. Aside from, Kyou Kara Maou, this was the second BL I read.

Well not rly like theyre super close: going everywhere together, supporting each others insane ideas. Thyre each others most important persons.Theyre like two super positive and supportive adorable mental patients. Cuz normal ppl think the things they do are absolutely insane and abnormal.

Fairy Trap: MC gets physical disease that results in depression and fear of abandonment that leads to him believing he is of no worth if he is not useful (don’t worry: story gets happier, but some of those first few chapters are )

Turns Out I’m Crazy: MC wakes up in the past in his lover’s body. So ML and MC are actually same person but MC doesn’t tell ML this. Their relationship was not healthy before and it is still bad after MC wakes up in the past in his lover’s body. MC and ML have mental illnesses. MC has depression and it more creeps up in areas where ML thinks he’s fine and then MC does something that is disturbing or self-destructive. ML does not act like a mentally stable person but he is never outright diagnosed with anything.

Psycho: very tragic but saying anything else would completely give away the major surprise at the end. Both MC and “ML” are troubled.

Spring Trees and Sunset Clouds: MC is never outright diagnosed with anything but it is clear that his past has traumatized him both physically and mentally. A sweet, slow burn romance.

Free Ren Yigu: I haven’t read it myself but it fits what you are looking for. Reviews say MC has OCD, paranoia, and possibly schizophrenia, and the story is told from his POV.
