It's a me! WARio! From the original 'Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor', the next game called 'Middle Earth: Shadow of War' is now announced. I know some of us liked the 1st game, so how do you feel for this second game? Shadow of War. Shadow of Waaaaaaar. Waaaario..... Warner Bros, please. That title sounds off.
super excited...makes me wanna go back and read all the lore again re Middle Earth, especially cuz the game's are now canon....good stuff
The games are supposedly canon? All this wraith business is completely made up by the game designers from what I know. Correct me if I am wrong though.
Nah, I don't think it's canon... it's about as lore unfriendly as you can get I think most people just see the games as a fun alternate reality Middle Earth xD
First game was goos with the dlc and the history after that is plain repetitive gameplay. I hope they dont make the same mistake here because the game has the potential to be more successful and engaging than the first.
Some of the characters existed in the lore but they were never delved into as deeply as the games have taken it and the events of the game are never (or rarely, some parts are) mentioned in any of the lore written my J. J. Tolkien.
I suck at explaining but there's a pretty good explanation here xD Basically a bunch of things in the story didn't exist (or weren't where Shadow of Mordor puts them), and the way the game treats death isn't possible, because death doesn't work that way in LOTR. Basically the game's lore seems canon if you glance at it but when you look at it in detail it contradicts a lot of the stuff that Tolkien explicitly included and implied. But I do wish it was canon

I finished the first game when it came out. When I heard that the sequel came, I was so hyped Played it till act 3, and now I'm stuck at the last 2 stages because it became so repetetive I can't play it anymore. I will finish it soon probbably
