I was not sure whether to add it in this sub forum or site discussion but since this is partly an error, I ultimately decided to go for this. So, the issue is that a lot of yaoi genre novels do not have the genre tag under the novel. When I try to add it, the genre is locked. Now as much as I like BL, I don't want to read certain genres in BL since the romance often overshadows the main theme that I am looking for. Hence, when I go to series finder, I choose not to have BL in the generate recommendations. Unfortunately, 1/4, if not more, was filled with yaoi novels which have not been marked as the said genre. Can the mods resolve this issue somehow? Why is there a genre lock on yaoi for yaoi novels?
O,O I did not know what that genre stood for so I usually ignored it. I just googled it and understood the difference. I will now go search for novels accordingly, thank you.
