For violet evergarden, i like the novel better, it gives a different story at the end. One that will be shown through a movie coming out on april 2020. The anime is also great but the novel has the ML's POV.
Other isekai are manga: ranker who lives a second life. Manga: dungeon reset manga: Wortena senki - it's slow with lots of explanation but the main story is good. I just go over the explanations. novel: remarried empress (my current fav)
