Is this novel good? And is the mc OP?

 

Getting tired of everyone dies, boss has 1-5 percent hp left, he kills it, everyone goes WOOT WOOT!

EDIT: still waiting for him to go get the unique mount

 

This is killing me, the novel started off well imo but ever since starting this dungeon it's been a total drag. I mean, who cares about these fights? They have nothing to do with the story, I hope the author will speed up the pace a little once they finish hardcore mode.

PS. Would definitely be a demon summoning priest.. err.. for science!

 

Not saying it's not annoying, but that's how a lot of difficult frontrunner content is cleared, I don't see that as much of an issue. They've got bad gear doing content that's on a difficulty meant for skilled and organized players. MC is also carrying because he is an experienced player while to the other players it's still only a few days old. The other players are basically just damage dealers and boss ability soakers. Honestly I don't see that changing a whole lot in the future. Unmitigable damage that's focused on the tanks is the only way that's going to change, and if we're talking from a balancing perspective than that probably won't happen until around halfway to level cap where gear should start having more than just base stats.

It's apparently a complete story with 856 chapters so I'm guessing that the difficult mechanics and other skilled players don't really appear until around chapters 100-150. This should all be expected of a story that involves a time-traveler going back to when a profession they've mastered has just been discovered. It's basically just akin to professional athlete joining a high school sports team.

 

I can understand that point, but every boss?

 

Again mate, first "hardcore mode" dungeon. At least let them do a couple more before you write it off.

 

It's nit really every boss don't you remember that fatty survived second boss? BUtah still yeah they die ALOT especially when the author keeps on making other player takes the 100% hit rate skill of the boss and only when the whole party dies will the boss target the mc with the "random" skill

 

Well if group size is limited to 10 then lets say the boss has a 1 shot mechanic that can target anybody in the raid on a 45 second cooldown. With 1 tank you have a 10% chance every 45 seconds to immediately wipe due to the tank getting 1 shot, with 2 tanks you have an extra life but the fight will take longer because 1 tank is obviously less damage than 1 pure dps (disregarding outliers like MC). I don't recall whether or not there has been a taunt ability (may be class specific), if there isn't then DPS needs to be lowered even further in order for offtank to maintain second position on threat.

It's been a long time since I've actively played an MMO let alone be in the raiding scene so can't think of any examples.

 

Someone else noticed that the translator translated the wrong chapters as if it were 25 and 26 but actually it's the 28 and 29 I checked the raws

 

So he slipped three chapters?
