For those who have read The Charm of Soul Pets you probably recognize more than a few parallels to pokemon> As such I pose a question. Who is better Pikachu or Mo Xie? I don't care what criteria you use whether its power, charm, the series or the trainer just give me your honest answer. Pikachu vs Mo Xie
One is a lightning mouse, while the other is a nine tailed fox. A lightning mouse that can battle gods, or a nine tailed fox. Obviously Pikachu (Ash's Pikachu, of course)
Let's just ignore the difference between Mo Xie and Pikachu. Even if they were perfectly even (which they aren't I think Mo Xie is stronger and this is coming from a long time pokemon fan). The trainers are living in seperate worlds. Chu Mu actually has an understanding of Mo Xie's abilities and that of other Soul Pets. Meanwhile Ash is somehow a mentally handicapped person who after how many years of traveling he still dosen't know a thing. If watch any of Sun and Moon, I have little cousins who like to watch it, Ash is sitting in the trainer school AS A STUDENT and can't even remember the basics that the five year-old know.
Mo Xie hands down Why you ask? well lets look at pikachu for a moment... a yellow rat that shoots electricity..... now lets look at Mo Xie.... a nine tailed fox... 9 fluffy well kept cute tails and two fox ears... winner... fox tails and fox ears
I don't read them, but....any illustrations for Mo Xie? Some of the criterias in choosing would probably be because of their looks. Superficial, I know but some passersby do choose depending on that.
Pikachu because I can make it charge my batteries so I will never have to switch off my laptop/ phones during any adventures.
Moxie the winner, don't forget moxie effect raise atk by 1 stage if ko-ing Pokemon, only outclassed by magearna ability, soul heart. Also Pikachu definitely NU (Never Used) tier You could see krookodile with moxie ability can really sweep and salamence got moxie as hidden ability, just imagining if it rampage
sometimes I watch the pokemon sun and moon and come into contact with the z-move 10 million volts of thunderbolt... I don't know man if mo xie is hit by that it is instant barbecue... in the anime it looks bull but I think when someone/something get hit by it I'm pretty sure you are charred right awa. to be fair mo xie is op too so I guess in wuxia and anime terms it is gonna be the power of face smacking vs the power of friendship.
why would you compare a lightning mouse to a fire fox? wouldn't mo xie and a vulpix/ninetails be a better comparison? oh and 1 is an non fluffy arrogant high maintenance mouse with plot armor and the other is a fluffy cuddly obedient fox~ of course mo xie is better~
Not sure if you misunderstood the thread or if you're trolling... I haven't read the novel, but just based on appearances, Mo Xie. Mo Xie looks a lot fluffier than Pikachu. Additionally, the black fur with the blue crescent moon on its forehead looks cool to me. From what I can tell, Mo Xie is fire-based. I personally think that electricity is stronger than fire, so I would go with Pikachu with regards to power. But as an electrical engineering major, I have a strong bias for electricity. If you wanted to go by trainer, it really depends. If you're going by the games, there's a lot of trainers, but probably, you'll be referring to Red, the most notable NPC trainer with a Pikachu. Questionable bc I don't know the MC of Charm of Soul Pets lol. Same for if you wanted to go by the manga (Pokemon Special). But if you wanted to go by the anime, MC of Charm of Soul Pets is probably the winner bc it's really hard to beat Ash in terms of stupidity I think.
