Recommendations Modern Hacker Girl Protagonist

I'm looking for a story in a modern setting that's got romance and a girl protagonist. Also want a novel with both mc's being hackers. Kind of like the current video game arc in Side Character Transmigrations: The Final Boss is No Joke.

You could try "Mr. CEO, Spoil Me 100%". It's modern day, MC is a genius hacker (if you can get over how unrealistic the description of hacking it is). There's some extra sci-fi stuff going on, but it might be what you're looking for.

 

So very much in the wrong place. NU focuses on translations of japanese, korean, and chinese novels, and none of the three of them are exactly welcoming places for Strong Women Characters. Try RR, Fictionpress or similar.

 

Can you elaborate on those sites? What is RR and any other recommendations for strong female leads? Thanks so much!

 

RR is https://royalroadl.com/ and is pretty much the most popular aggregator for OENs. Those that don't do RR (either hitting the max R rating or paranoid about publishing poisoning) usually roll their own wordpress site for ~$100/yr, so there are still many more good novels in dark corners.
Other places to start looking for those hidden gems are: https://www.goodreads.com/, http://topwebfiction.com/, http://webfictionguide.com/listings/, https://www.wattpad.com/, or https://www.fictionpress.com/. I think most of those have tags or search parameters for female MCs.

As I'm sure you already know, though, a modern-day hack-a-thon with a strong female MC is a pretty rare demographic. Which is regrettable, because recently, I myself have had it up to here^ with the asian female 'romance' stereotypes. I think I need to recalibrate with some good western fiction where all attractive women don't automatically have rape flags set. : )

 

wattpad sometimes have good stories but.... you should be patient because is really hard to find anything really good and the tags doesn't give you any help....

RLL in the forums you should find good stories (i prefer forum recommendations to tag search).

 

: ) Yeah, that pretty much applies to all of them. Finding a Good Story is the classic needle in a haystack search, made worse in that 'good' is a very subjective qualifier even in the best of times. : D
Lots of people called Worm 'good', or even 'fantastic', but to me it was a far too long, time burning downer where everybody loses. I can respect that it's great storytelling and excellent writing, but decidedly not my cup of tea.

Thanks, I was searching for this story name for hours. There is a app named "pocket fm" which is selling this story audiobook. They changed the name of the story to " The untraceable B" and the character names are changed. They never mansion about light novel version which is why It is very hard to find the light novel name , I have to Google the story
