Monster Paradise dropped upon QI's request(Edited), The Devil's Evolution Catalog, New Series

For whoever is reading this, Monster Paradise has been dropped by us ,Catato Patch, upon the request by QI (Qidian International). They have expressed their intent to translate this novel and have offered us a position in said project. However, we had some disagreements over the terms so we declined their offer. The current chapters will be sold to them, pending their review. (no longer true)

EDIT: So apparently their contract for prior translations is essentially the same contract as the one they have for translators...mind blown. We have decided not to sell the translations because it makes zero sense. There's no reason for us to become independent contractors of QI just to conduct a one-time sale. Furthermore, they refused to clarify their stance on the matter of payment. I do not feel comfortable with the fact that they can choose to reject our translations after accepting it and gaining the all of the rights to it. And that damned non-disparagement clause for a simple transaction...really? like really?

Monster Paradise will be released at 2 chapters per day; starting from today and ending on Saturday August 19th. The following Monday Monster Paradise will no longer be displayed on our website.

Now that the depressing stuff is out of the way...

New Series Announcement and Preview

We've decided to pick up a new series called The Devil's Evolution Catalog to replace Monster Paradise as our main series. We have also bumped The Undying Drama up to the status of a main series to fill in the gap.

Synopsis:

I definitely did not job change into a shut-in because I couldn’t survive in society.

I definitely did not become a wizard because I couldn’t find a girlfriend.

Actually, I’m pretty good at video games but those darned girls just don’t know how cool I am in the game.

Even the heavens could not tolerate a cool guy like me. As I was trying to save someone, I got run over by a truck and died.

Actually I just wanted to save that loli, that pretty boy can go kill himself…but I think I ended up saving both of them.

Perhaps the next world will be a better place…

Thanks for the heads up. Was enjoying the series, so can only hope QI can continue releasing to the same standard. I'll be checking out the new series after catching up on reading lists.
