    Acceptable Recipe Format
    :
Name of Item (Bold, Underline, Font Size: 6)
    - Apprentice Blacksmith [Insert Character Name]
    Description (Bold):
Contents describing what the item being produced is.

    Stats (Bold):
List of stat bonuses and resistance bonuses if any. For example...
    +10 STR
    +50 HP
    Physical Resist: +5%

    Skills (Bold):
Active and/or passive skills if any. For example...
    Dodge - user rolls 1d2 + DEX

    Materials (Bold):
List out what materials were used and how many. For example...
    x1 Wood
    x1 Metal Scrap
    x5 Slime Cores

    Directions (Bold):
Number out the steps used. Be detailed.

Special Note: The steps you take to make a recipe must make sense for the recipe's stat bonuses and skills. You can't say you used a metal scrap and a piece of wood to make a sword that is +50 STR and summons a guardian spirit for its skill. How would that be possible? It will be best if you PM me or a veteran Blacksmith for review when you finish a recipe before posting it on the thread.

    Wood Short Bow
    [IMG]
Description: Made of wood this bow is suitable for Rangers who prefer agility.

    Stats:
    +3 DEX
    +1 STR

    Active Skill: Ranged attack

    Materials:
    1 Wood
    3 Leather string
    1 slime core

Step 1: Split the prepared wood log in half, look carefully at the two sides and select the straighter of the two, shave the bark and hard inner layer off the selected side until you are left with the white inner wood, this will be your bow stave.
Step 2: Start whittling the stave into a rough bow shape about 48 inches long and begin sanding it.
Step 3: During the sanding process leave the middle section of the bow a little thicker about 4-5 inches wide, this will become the handle.
Step 4: Carefully sand down the bottom and top or the bows into thinner sections
Step 5: File some string grooves about 1-2 inches deep on the front of the bow on each end
Step 6: Make sure that each end of the bow bends evenly, if they don’t bend evenly make sure to sand the thicker end until there is even bend.
Step 7: Use the prepared slime adhesive and braid two of the prepared leather strings around the handle area to allow for a better grip.
Step 8: Take one of the prepared leather strings and measure it out to be a few inches shorter than the bows length to give the bowstring tension.
Step 9: Next tie a knot on each side of the string leaving a loop which can be fastened on the string grooves, this should also add a slight curve to the bow.
Step 10: Enjoy your new short bow.

    2 Cowhide
    5 Metal scrap
    2 Wood

Description: This leather armor is made for rangers and the armor focuses on mobility more than defense.

    Torso
    Stats:
    +5 DEX
    +3 STR
    +100ARM

Step 1: Make a wooden model out of the prepared wood with the dimensions of the person who will be wearing the armor, also forge rivets from the metal scrap to hold the armor together.
Step 2: Trace out the torso armor now from the piece of cowhide.
Step 3: Cut out the traced-out leather and begin preparing some leather scraps together to make the shoulder pieces.
Step 4: The leather scraps should be placed on top of each other and then separated that the top only has the bottom end touching the middle and the bottom only has the top end touching the middle.
Step 5: Use the prepared rivet to hold the pieces together at the places where each piece meets, repeat this again for the other shoulder piece.
Step 6: Soak the torso and shoulder pieces lightly in water for a hour or two this will allow the leather to be molded to shape and give hardness when dried.
Step 7: Stitch laces into the back of the leather armor after bending both sides back to allow for tightening and loosening of the torso.
Step 8: Attach the shoulder pieces to the torso armor by stitching it to the shoulder ends of the armor, afterwards do a light soaking of the leather armor for a few hours. After the soaking hang the armor on the model and let it set.

    Legs

    Stats:
    +4 DEX
    +2 STR

Step 9: Using leather scraps once again make the leg armor by placing the pieces in an overlapping manner again, preferably the top and lower pieces should be long and wide enough to cover the thigh and shin areas of the leg, soak these pieces for an hour or two.
Step 10: Over all there should be about 3 pieces to each piece and layer them so that the top and bottom pieces are the bottom layer and the middle piece (where the kneecap is) will be the outermost layer. This will ensure that you still have full mobility of the knee and legs.
Step 11: Rivet the pieces together and slip a slim metal sheet underneath the middle layer to provide extra protection for the knee.
Step 12: Next step is to put straps on the leg armor for tightening and loosening.

    Feet
    Stats:
    +3 DEX
    +1 STR
    25 ARM

Step 13: Trace out the bottom of the shoe and cut it out along with some extra leather for the top part of the shoe.

Step 15: Stitch the middle part of the shoe shut and attach 4 small leather guides near the ankle portion of the shoe, then guide a string through it for a lace and its done.
Step 16: Repeat Steps 13-15 for the other shoe.

    +5 CON
    1% more Physical DMG

    Materials Used:
    x1 Wood
    x5 Wolf Blood
    x1 Leather String
    x3 Slime Cores

    Directions:
    1. Cut the wood into a rectangular block that's a bit bigger than your face.
    2. Draw the outline of the mask that you wanted.
    3. Chip away the wood by following the outline, making sure to carve out the outlines for the eyes.

    5. Smooth out the two sides of the mask by sanding away the rough surfaces.
    6. Submerge the mask in a bowl containing 5 cups of Wolf Blood. Let the mask sit in the blood for a week while it absorbs the essence of the blood.
    7. During the last day of the week, take a couple of slime cores and melt them down in a pot.
    8. Take out the blood-dyed mask and let it sit aside to dry.
    9. Pour about half a cup of blood into the pot of melted slime cores and mix well.
    10. Once the mixture has been reduced by a fourth and the mask had been dried, lather the mixture onto the mask and make sure to cover the entirety of the mask.
    11. Let it sit and dry for another hour.
    12. When done, you can use it immediately. The scent of the blood can stimulate your senses, giving you some bloodlust and allowing you to deal more damage.

How to make a Sieve by Apprentice Blacksmith Rao

Description: A tool used for sifting and filtering loose material, can be used for various things.

    Materials:

    2 Wood

    9 Metal Scrap

Step 1: Cut out four blocks of wood with two being 12 inches long and two at 11 inches long, and all four pieces being 2-3 inches wide to use as a frame.

Step 2: Forge some nails from the prepared scrap and nail the four frame pieces together to make a box shape.

Step 3: Heat the remaining metal scrap down and begin forging it into wire by slowly forging it into a cylindrical shape by hammering each side evenly to begin rounding the shape.

Step 4: Once the overall shape is gotten reheat and continue hammering it to lengthen the metal and slim it down, the wire should be about a quarter to a half inch thick.

Step 5: Once the wire is done carefully begin braiding it into a fine mesh with a grid shape pattern, the hole size should be about a tenth of a inch wide and long to make a decent filter.

Step 6: The mesh size should be made to be about 10 inches long and wide which should be just big enough to lay flat on one of the sides of the frame.

Step 5: Once the braiding is complete test the strength of the mesh and make sure that the size has been adjusted accordingly.

Step 6: Use the remaining nails to affix the mesh to the frame by nailing it at the four corners and at the center of each side.

Step 7: Test out the sieve and if need be, make more nails to better affix the mesh to the frame.
