This is where builder apprentices learn and making buildings
    [IMG]
    Acceptable Recipe Format:
Name of Building (Bold, Underline, Font Size: 6)
    (Provide Image/Blueprints)
    - Apprentice Builder [Insert Character Name]
    Description (Bold):
Contents describing what the building being produced is.

    Functions (Bold):
Describes what the building will be used for, how many workers can attend this building, if it can be further upgraded, and how much the reward cost is for the building's completion.

    Materials (Bold):
List out what materials were used and how many. For example...
    x15 Wood
    x10 Stone

    Directions (Bold):
Number out the steps used. Be detailed.

Special Note: The steps you take to make a recipe must make sense for the recipe's functions. You can't say you used five blocks of stone and 3 logs of wood to make a siege weapon that holds hundreds of people. How would that be possible? It will be best if you PM me or a veteran Builder for review when you finish a recipe before posting it on the thread.

    Buildings:
House - gives Kudan 20 G for first completion
Watermill - gives Kudan 500 G per month and 50 G for first completion

    Defenses:
Palisade - gives Kudan 100 G for first completion
Trebuchet - gives Kudan 100 G for first completion
Tower - gives Kudan 50 G for first completion and 1000 G per month.

The instructions are good. but you must first be able to build it before you can post this up. Don't worry about stone and wood, I'm making something for them right now.

you can post building plans, just need to make sure you have the materials to make it. After you make it, then it counts towards your upgrade requirements.

Couldn't we also have people donate materials? So that if someone wants to they can come up with something that sounds reasonable and we can get materials and then they can build it?

yea, you can trade or donate in the Lounge as long as you have the required items. If you want, you can even RP in there. I'll make it easier to acquire materials in the future.

@Simon is planning to build a house for Azeroth. Azeroth paid 20 gold to Simon. @Zero300 Does the 20 gold double due to the builder's skill or is that only for NPC transactions? Also, does Simon need to roll anything to build a house?

@Simon only works for NPCs. Also, you can roleplay about building houses for players but it won't give you anything or cost you anything. However, it would cost materials if you build for NPCs. The purpose of the house is to increase the NPC residents in our city, which will later be trained for the militia. I've put up the prices for these houses, so you'll know how much gold you'll get for the building.

Can I have the house be built for my direct subordinates? So I would have 5 NPC lackeys? :hmm:

ok, looks good. For the bath house, though, the materials don't seem enough. Think about it, a house is 5 stone and 5 wood...your bath house seems to be about three times the size.

    Trebuchet
    Created by: Apprentice Builder Kudan
    [IMG]

    Description:
A type of siege engine which uses a swinging arm to throw a projectile.

    Functions:
    > Deals 500 DMG in sieges.
    Materials:
    x20 Stone
    x40 Wood
    x2 Cowhide
    Construction:
    > Prepare the materials.
    > Build the wooden frame of the trebuchet.
    > Make a rather narrow rectangular base fitted with wooden wheels.
    > Reinforce the base by linking the longer sides of the base near their center with a wooden beam.
    > Build wooden pillars that will support the swing beam.
    > Reinforce the pillars by fixing beams to lean on their sides, making it look like triangles, keeping the pillars upright.
    > Drill a hole on the top of the pillars where a wooden dowel will be situated, make sure it can rotate.
    > Make a sling beam of relative length.
    > Drill a hole across 1/3rd of the sling beam's length for the dowel to pass through.
    > Attach a crate on which to put the counter-weight stones at the shorter end of the beam, relative to the dowel hole.
    > Rope the cowhide to the tip of the longer side of the beam to act as sling pouch.
    > Attach another rope to draw back the sling.
    > Make a hooking mechanism to hold the sling before firing, this will also act as the trigger.
    > Attach the sling beam to the top of the frame with a sturdy wooden dowel.
    > Fill the counter weight with plenty of stones, the heavier it is, the stronger is the projectile launched.
    > Remaining stones will be used as projectiles.
