This is where brewer apprentices learn and make potions and drinks.

Soot based Ink​

- Apprentice Brewer Laphael​

Description:
Made from soot, it is a non-poisonous, safe black ink that forms waterproof black writings on application followed by drying.

Usability:
Rune writing, As a material, As an ink

Materials: For four bottles of ink,
x2 Wood
x1 Slime Gel
x1 Spring Water.

Step 1. Burn the wood in a limited atmosphere so that the flame obtained is sooty.
Step 2. Collect the soot using a heat-resistant utensil.
Step 3. Ground the soot obtained thoroughly.
Step 4. Mix and stir it in clear water till a permanent suspension is formed.
Step 5. Add some slime gel to maintain consistency and heat it till the gel mixes.
Step 6. Store the ink obtained in bottles.

 

Lesser Mana Potion​

-Apprentice Brewer Silver Laers​

Description:
Made by concentrating small mana potions via reduction and a ground up slime core, this bluish potion restores more mana than a small mana potion.

Usability:
A better mana potion than a small mana potion. Restores 40 mp on use.

Materials:
1x wood
1x slime core
3x small mana potions

Step 1. Grind up the slime core using a mortar and pestle.
Step 2. Pour three small mana potions into a pot.
Step 3. Sprinkle the ground up slime core into the mana potion liquid and mix
Step 4. Light a flame under the pot and wait for the potions to boil.
Step 5. Wait for the liquid to reduce by 1/4th (3/4ths of the liquid is left). When it reduces by 1/4th, put out the flame and cover the pot.
Step 6. When the liquid has cooled down, gently mix it before pouring the potion mixture into bottles.

 

Just asking, how many MP is there in a Lesser Mana Potion?
(And how many is there in a small potion?)

Slippery Paste​

- Apprentice Brewer Oz​

Description:
Made by mixing slime gel with grounded slime core that has been infused with small doses of mana.

Usability:
Applies on skin and allows user to slip past one physical attack.

Materials:
x1 Slime Core
x2 Slime Gel

Step 1. Heat up the two Slime Gels in a pot to remove impurities.
Step 2. While the Slime Gels are being brought to a boil, grind up the Slime Core into fine powder using a mortar and pestle.
Step 3. Evenly pour the ground up Slime Core into the heated pot of Slime Gel.
Step 4. Stir until mix becomes pasty.
Step 5. While cooling, add some mana into the mixture and continue to stir.
Step 6. Once the paste had cooled completely, pour the mixture into some bottles.

 

Small Corrosive Blood Potion

Description:
A concentration of blood fuelled with corrosive properties.

Usability:
A potion that can be thrown at an enemy, corroding its skin and weakening them for 1 round.
Cannot be blocked.
Roll 1d10 for chance of hitting target. 1-5 = failure, 6-10 = success.
Deals 15 HP damage.
Drains 5% of enemy's strength for 1 round - Damage is reduced by 5% for 1 round.

Materials:
Goblin, or Hobgoblin blood (x2)

Instructions for Concoction:

Step 1. Pour one portion of blood into a bottle.
Step 2. Cast [Dissolve] on the blood in the bottle.
Step 3. Cast [Weaken] on the blood in the bottle.
Step 4. Heat up over a low fire for 2 mins.
Step 5. Pour in second portion of blood.
Step 6. Take off heat after 2 mins.
Step 7. Cast [Dissolve] on the blood in the bottle.
Step 8. Cast [Weaken] on the blood in the bottle.
Step 9. Stir well, until fully mixed in.
Step 10. Once mixture is cooled, potion is complete.

This isn't going to work. If you cast Weaken on teeth, they become brittle and nothing else.

This won't work either. Shield of Light is essentially a shield of light. It's not gonna stick onto dust or anything.

you mentioned in chat that you want a mask with shield of light right? I'm sure I can make it after creating some necessary items. After all, in Adventurer's Guild, I was the renowned Mask Maker.

probably not. You need to upgrade to the next stage of Brewer which is Alchemist to be able make it.

 

Which is a problem, since I can't think of Other Items to make...

make some potions or paste. of course, you would need more materials, so go do more raids. check out the book of monsters to see if there's a material you want. the monsters in the Northern Dungeons haven't unlocked so you can't ask for those.

 

Charcoal Sticks (x20)​

- Apprentice Brewer Oz​

Description:
Made by burning wood in a closed space. Usually done outside, given the lack of proper equipment.

Usability:
Can be used for drawing ritual circles or just drawing in general. Can also produce higher intensity of heat when cooking or brewing as well as giving food that smoky flavor. There are numerous uses for charcoal sticks.

Materials:
x2 Wood
x5 Spring Water
Some hay found in City Stable
Some dirt found outside

1. Cut the wood down to suitable sizes, about two human arms' length.
2. Stick one straight into the ground, making it a post for the other wood to lean against.
3. Place the rest of the cut wood against the post and spread evenly as if making a large camp fire.
4. Cover the pieces of wood with hay, usually found outside or in the City Stables.
5. Mixing some spring water with the dirt on the ground, mud is made.
6. Generously lather mud on top of the wood, covering it almost entirely. Make sure to leave the top slightly open.
7. At the bottom of the mud mound, remove the mud at various locations one foot and a half foot apart so that the wood and hay are shown. This is so that there are some ventilation during the burning process.
8. Light up the top open end on fire and stoke it with some more pieces of wood and hay.
9. While the fire burns, make sure to lather mud on the cracks that may form due to the fire's heat against the mud in order to prevent the mound from falling apart.
   
10. Once the fire reaches the bottom of the pile, which one can see while looking through the ventilation holes at the bottom, cover the ventilation holes and the top with mud so that the mound is completely sealed.
11. Let the fire burn for a day or two until the fire dies out and the inside is cool to touch.
12. Break apart the dry mound and harvest the charcoal sticks inside.

 

With 100% success rate of brewing, I use goblin blood (x30) to make 15 Small Corrosive Blood potions.
I get 15 Small Corrosive Blood potions from it.

Description:
A small bottle of blue liquid that restores MP by 10.

Usability:
Drink to restore 10 MP.

Materials:
Spring Water (x2) <- need to change the ingredient.

Instructions for Concoction:

Step 1. Pour the spring water into a pan.
Step 2. Boil the water until reduced by half.
Step 3. Take off heat and leave to cool.
Step 4. Pour concentrated spring water into a small bottle.
Small Mana Potion complete.

Description:
3 small bottles of healing liquid

Usability:
Heals 10 HP per bottle.

Materials:
Blood (x2) <- doesn't have healing properties
Spring Water (x1)
Teeth (x1) <- needs to be taken out

Instructions for Concoction:

Step 1. Pour the blood and spring water into a pan.
Step 2. Heat up the liquid until boiling.
Step 3. Let the liquid simmer.
Step 4. Grind up the teeth into a fine powder.
Step 5. Pour powder into the liquid.
Step 6. Stir gently until fully mixed in.
Step 7. Take off the heat and allow to cool completely.
Step 8. Pour into 3 small bottles.
Item concoction complete.

Small Blood Dust Bomb

Description:
A small bottle filled with bloody dust.

Usability:
Throw contents, or blow out the contents, near enemies to create a bloody dust cloud.
Affects all enemies.
Reduces visibility of enemies, lowering their hit chance.
Affected enemies must roll a 1d2 before taking any reaction. 1 = failure to see, thus not reacting 2 = reacts as normal.
Effect lasts for 1 round.

Materials:
Blood (x2)
Teeth (x2)
Charcoal (x2)

Instructions for Concoction:

Step 1. Pour the blood into a pan.
Step 2. Boil and stir constantly until reduced down.
Step 3. Take off heat and let it cool.
Step 4. Spread substance onto a stone slab and leave to sun-dry
Step 5. Grind the teeth to dust.
Step 6. Grind the charcoal to dust.
Step 7. Grind the dried blood into a powder.
Step 8. Pour all powders and dusts into a bowl.
Step 9. Mix until fully incorporated.
Step 10. Pour into a small bottle.
Item concoction complete.
