It was a massacre. A mad man took up his arms and brought the darkest horror to the world. But it was also they day in which you saw the brightest light in life. You recall that day as you stand by the grave of a stranger, one who you owe your whole life to. (March 18 Supreme Sacrifice Day)

Writing stories are tough but with prompts it gets a little easier, right?

I'm thinking if its better to have a gap of only 5 days between the start of voting n the start of writing, like voting starts at 10 n writing starts at 15

Oh, that's better. Murder hobos are easy to write about.

I have 2 questions about this, I don't normally participate on these so I barely know anything(I've only done one writing contest before, a year ago too). So first question, is this a contest or something for fun?
About the prompt, do I have to write something around it or is it just me writing a murder scenario?

This is compeltely for fun.
You can write anything, as long as it relates to the prompt. The point of this thread is to give people ideas about what to write about, and not to force them to write. If you don't feel comfortable writing about a subject or if you can't, well, it's fine to not.

Been trying to write the March one and applicant for death but laziness. Got a third done. If there's a writing prompt for a lazy story then I can just submit empty post.
