I want to see big armies clashing together. I would prefer muskets and bayonets but cold weapons are fine to. I don't want to much focus on romance I want to see alot of action.

The World Online : It goes all the way from small scale cold weapons wars to Naval Wars with full blown cannons. Katahane no Riku : I love this one. It's a fantasy world war though. (No romance) The Grandmaster Strategist : Amazing book. Has some Romance but the main focus remains on the plot. If you like battles, it's a must read imo. Although the protagonist just sits back and controls countries like his pawns. Can't think of anything else for now. There's too few military themed novels and most of them have a lot of romance.
