Can't have a serious discussion here, because of few people I'll abandon this thread.

Go sprout all nonsense you want, or hijack it.

 

That masks the taste and doesn't inhace the flavor ,well that is if you use it after the meal has been cooked .

It's already over Cap'n, we've hit some turbulence and gone off course.

 

Now is the season.... Just make sure to eat some food before you eat it, to prevent bloating or gastric.. And no carbonated drinks few hours before, during and after, its bad. Its heaty, you can ease that with some warm salt drink..

Durian - Smells bad but I didn't mind it that much because I had a clogged nose that time. Still hated it though. Taste is fine but the texture isn't something that I like.
Burong Isda - Philippine dish, basically salted fish and rice fermented for about 10 days. This made me realize I don't like eating fermented foods(except for wines and the like).
Pinapaitan - another Philippine dish. Stew like meal made from goat or beef innards, has a bit of a bitter aftertase. I love this.
Shrimp Paste - fermented crushed shrimp with salt.

 

Jengkol and Pete is smell soon bad. I don't know if your country have it. But in my country after you eat it your urine and fart smells so bad (*>.<*)

They eat the most stinky and smelly food = GARBAGE and POOP

Stinky Tofu. A friend of mine made it for me and the smell made me gag. It tasted pretty good but honestly, the smell was pretty overwhelming. Next time I eat it, I'll be sure to wear a mask.

 

Fermented Shrimp In vinegar... (dont know the English for it, its a chinese food)

I eat it when I still a child but I stop eating it when I'm teenagers. ... I oina want to compliment the small me to be able to eat something like that....

 

kielbasa and sauerkraut. My family is German, and as the resident black sheep of the family, I have always hated the smell of this dish.
