Yeah i know, but imagine that world having a lore of centuries of broken slavery, slaves often look down, bow, kneel or limp. Accidents happen, not to mention violent owner that'd headbutt for the lulz.

But yeah i can imagine either he's special or the world is a lower reality where causality follows game-scripts more closely than reality.
I guess the slave might not even know the restriction being lifted as they wouldn't try after getting used to it for years.
Imagine trying to enslave a Dullahan.....

 

I imagine that would be treated as "Well, slavery magic has a chance to fail, just kill those slaves", or maybe the slaves are too used to be slaves that they dont even know they were accidentally released.
Or maybe that's a close guarded secret, similar to how the nobles know how to acquire skills but they keep that knowledge to themselves.

 

It’s doubtful that the author intends to turn this into an anti slavery novel. Very few Japanese Isekai authors use that theme.

Somehow i can't help but want to praise the artist of the manga, the drawings are really really well done.
The chapter was also awesome (even though i already knew the content from reading the web novel form).

Today’s chappie was the mandatory shoujo slice of life chapter, with the mandatory “Eko is so cute!” stuff.

I seem to vaguely recall Sylvia’s dad putting pressure on her in a later chapter..and Alex being a massive d!ck. I hope we see more political chapters soon..and the MC as an arrogant Young Master. Those are fun...

 

The cliche "this kid is cute" is always funny (mostly if it's a girl). I really liked it.Also +0.5 because the family of FL is kind.

 

I was hoping that the name of the team was an author’s joke...nope.

Also only checked now / i clicked the links at bottom of chapter giving the full list of ranks for skills/spells and damn there is a lot. But feels kinda weird that there are so many and the population where MC was didn't even have the lower ones.
Because i got a weird feeling seeing "whatever character who said it" being surprised that MC is gonna participate in titles fights as if there were a bunch of contestants even though in entire story before it felt like everyone was ultra weak beside maybe the mages in the academy.
Like i want to ask author do you want to make titles users common or not ?????

 

Based on previous chapters, titled users are incredibly rare.

Also, the author mentioned that the nobility monopolized the skill conditions, so the elite nobility have all the skilled people. The academy is sons and daughters of nobility...

 

I wonder if author will make MC share some skills conditions. But probably not as nobles will become then his enemies.

 

Only if it will help him on the path to becoming the best in the world.
