I've always felt movies are too short to tell a story properly , at least a story of big proportions.

Watching on books first makes the story so very detailed to the flow of the story. but when it comes to movies it has a lot of cut offs even though that i was good for interpreting the novels such like.

Books are really better than movies cause sometimes in movies they cut the scenes while in books, its more detailed.
    For example:
in Princess Wei Yang novel, the MC was reincarnated/rebirth but in the movie, they didn't do such thing. I'm so disappointed ah!!! (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻
