It's definitely IT for me and still is. I refuse to watch the new one because I know I'm going to get nightmares. >.<

Never had a movie give me trauma, but there is only one single episode of the Goosebumps television series that permanently traumatised me: Revenge of the Lawn Gnomes. The lawn gnomes come to life and attack the protagonists, which is just goofy. But at one point in the show, their grumpy neighbour gets bitten by a lawn gnome. The end of the episode stinger is that, unbeknown to the viewer, this had transformed the grumpy neighbour into a lawn gnome, and the episode ends on a close up of the lawn gnome. :blobfearful:

I don't know. After that I had a deep seated fear that lawn gnomes would, very very specifically, crawl up through the toilet plumbing, bite my ass, and turn me into a lawn gnome forever. Why the toilet? I don't know. I still can't poop in the dark.

These two are the most memorable horror movies that brought me nightmares when I was really young. Till today, I dare not re-watch for fear of reliving the trauma once more.

Chucky because the idea of a doll coming to life and killing people was terrifying and nightmare inducing. Also, it's not a movie but the halloween episode of boy meets world terrified me as well cuz I thought that all of my favorite characters actually got killed off. xD

My older sister used to torture me with old horror movies when I was young(between 4 and 7ish). So got to see the classics, the shining, nightmare on elm st, Friday the 13th, and Hellraiser just to name a few. I was already having nightmares where I would die, so freddy wasnt a very welcome addition to the things that killed me as I slept...

And she wonders why I was such a violent person twords her....

X-files in general. They're basically designed to mess with kids. For new generation it's should be Doctor Who probably.

Jurassic Park, the scene where the guy is trying to use the toilet and a T-Rex tears off the roof and bites him in half.
    I think I was 5 when I saw it.
I was scared of being in the bathroom for very long for years after, and didn't know why, but now I think it was because of that.

Second one would be The Mummy (I think it was the 1999 one)
The scenes where bunches of beetles crawled around under people's skin and they screamed terribly until they died.
The giant face in the sand was freaky too, but the beetles and scorpions were scarier
