Do not know the name anymore know it was a film of english production us or uk about a haunted hotel/villa that the family father, mother, son take over. I remember it setting was in winter or some kind of storm was coming because one of the main haunted rooms was with a old heater which could warm up the whole building and something was not right with it, either it needed to put in wood or coal into it or it got out from time to time can not remember anymore. Also it was on the countryside and the hotel/villa burned down at the end. With its typical fast perspective chage of 80s/90s in right moment etc as a kid it was too much input.I know only that i could not sleep without a light for view weeks after that.

I still remember the nightmare I once had about her flying around our house with her broom, then suddenly starting to chase me across our home's never ending corridor. It... wasn't a pleasant dream. Nowadays I have nightmares about me fighting creepy and smiling monsters that keep killing me and shit, but they have never really affected me.

Most horror movies or games when I was a kid. Chuckie, Dead Silence (watched it when I was a little older), and any Japanese ones like The Grudge and The Ring.

Silent Hill. This shit makes me stay up until 4 am as a 7yo kid.
Also, there is one anime about ghost or yokai or something. The main ghost is like a big creepy brown bear and the main character is a young girl I think. There is also a grandma who cook weird things. I almost vomited when I watched it and had a nightmare about it.

EDIT: The anime is Spirited Away and Tororo my Neighbor. They are so creepy that I had a nightmare about it and nearly vomited when I watched it for the first time.
