I just noticed we don't have thread for this title. As starter, here is the latest illustration from the LN. We can see Badigadi, Nanahoshi, Ariel, Luke, and Cliff. What do you think about their appearances? Is it according your expectation??
Who are the girls quarreling with Cliff on the right again? Spoiler: Sunglasses Sylphy and Rudy are obvious but... Edit: Spoiler: Quarreling Oh wait, should be Rinia and Pursena. Not bad, I would rather have Nanahoshi without her mask though. Ariel is less gorgeous than I imagined her to be and Luke's face look too cunning and crafty. I imagined him more like a goody two shoes in my mind. Though it's difficult to have a proper look at both of them on this picture. Apart from Cliff's hair (I don't know why I pictured him blond), the other characters look great. Spoiler: Sunglasses Especially Sylphiette... sigh.
Someone know where the LN is in the storyline compared to the webnovel. Assuming nothing big got changed in the plot.

I too thought the beastkins would be more tanned. And are you sure that's Cliff, and not Zanoba? I thought Cliff would be shorter.

I pictured badigadi as a bald dude with even darker skin than on the picture Sylphy should have a flat chest no? Especially in the case where she should be disguised as a boy luke is too well built (but it makes sense since he is swordsman) Ariel does not look noble enough Cliff had blond hair in my imagination too
I managed to find this after looking around for information Spoiler: WN Chapter 191 I guess the author made them less tanned in the LN for some reason. Agree... I didn't imagine that kind of appearance at all. Clearly! Badigadi should have been bald. Unless I'm mixing up his appearance with Ruijerd when he shaved his head. Spoiler: Sunglasses Sylphy's chest should have been more flat indeed, Roxy and her had an inferority complex about that IIRC. She's also drawn as Fitts in this picture... couldn't have been taken for a male with that much chest. Ariel looks like some mere class representative student, not gorgeous and sophisticated enough compared to Rudy's description of her. She's lacking that thing befitting that peerless looking Princess that was depicted. Luke was a swordman but was also supposed to be real bad at it because he never trained seriously... This Luke looks too buff and reliable. That's not the Luke depicted in the WN at least. I imagined him more like a girly looking ikemen. So either the author changed some details about their appearances for no reason, or the illustrator never read the novels before drawing.
Well, that Zanoba really fits how I imagine him to be. He looks like an Otaku and contrary to his super human strength he has a stick-like figure. Quite fitting with his eccentric behaviour if I may say so. On to the picture shown up there. Princess got that student council president look, mature and logic. But doesnt have the majestic aura since she is a royal princess or looks charismatic. Maybe it depends on her outfit, but just wait and see for now. Luke is an ikemen alright, but looks too mature. I understand ikemen is the mature type of handsome guy, but this is just too mature. He still got a bit of naivety in him, talking about being a noble and being tricked by the number 1 villain in the story. Nanahoshi already in previous volumes pics, no need to discuss. Badigadi is perfect. The frivolous Villain look, black, happy. Yeah, thats him right there. Cliff the serious guy. Looks good to me. Rinia and Pursena also in previous volume I think. No need to discuss any further. They got big racks. Maybe a bit too big, but no man complaints when its too big right?....I think....
Rudi is cuter than how I imagined him. Since it is mentioned that he looked like Paul more, and that Paul is the masculine strong type ikemen. Badigadi.. I imagined him having more brownish/ reddish skins. I remember cliff having blonde hair, why does it changed to brownish? Agree about the beast girl's skin, the skin is too white. And why does they use the uniform so tidily? Sylphy is cute <3 But they need to tone down the chest.,
