Yup I was comparing this situation with how Riftan from Under the oak tree. Like @chanya said. I always finde it nerve wrecking when they can’t just say “I don’t wanna divorce/leave you/etc”. Hahahaha That’s why I found Riftan really refreshing

If i’m not mistaken, erden and leticia fought together and beat the demon. And then the great sage that erden mentioned on chapter 10 (manhwa) came and gave them blessings.


Then great sage talked to them, erden and leticia holding hands together.


Erden: “Trials can come to me. But the trials can’t come to my wife. Because I'll devote my whole body to stop it.”


The great sage: “Oh, yeah. Yeah. Of course you do. Because you are the bravest young man in the North, and you love your wife so much."


Leticia so embarrased.


The old man spoke kindly


The great sage: “But what I was talking about was just a general theory of life. Isn't life a path of thorns for everyone?”


Erden: “It may be a thorn in my life, but my wife's life never will.”


The great sage was embarrased again.


The great sage: “Erden, this is just philosophy and life is like that. The fact that you were born is a pain for everyone.”


Erden: “Life may be like that, but not Leticia. I’ll be sure to protect her.”


Then Leticia said to herself “Who can stop my husband?!”

When she arrived there, Leticia made a bet between Stone Golem. Between Balotsa and Halstead who would win?. Then Leticia gave 500 denias to Stone Golem and 500 denias to keep for herself. After that it turned out that Erden was disguised as bodyguard Leticia was shocked.

Leticia was surprised to hear this voice.


It must be the first voice you hear. A strangely familiar voice flowed from an unfamiliar bodyguard.

Lol , it’s full of them - cutting bunny apples , and being grateful for FLs existence - the ML stand the FL like anything

 

Sooo, i would like to share a short review upon anyone who would be interested in reading this novel. Thus far, the story elements did not share any exciting plot with us. There is the monster slaying part, however, i can't see it more than just a filler to add up a bit of something to the whole plot. Which it fails to do so. Don't get a wrong idea, i do not hate on any fluffy moments or lovey dovey acts between the leading characters, however the problem is that it can only be described as that and that alone. All the side characters and different events of the story exists for the mere fact so that the two of them get closer emotional-wise. I personally enjoy a heavy and detailed plot. The 'wiseness' of the female lead mentioned here, i could not see it. I believe they misplaced wiseness with boldness. Other than that, there wasn't much that could be seen. But just some generic elements. I do not recommend this for those of you who look for character development or a heavy plot. I will not say this is a bad novel, but it certainly isn't one if the bests i have read. If i am about to rate, a solid 2.5, or 3 if i want to be more generous is my rating. However if you do enjoy such plots, go for it by all means

Thanks for the spoilers! I love this one; it feels a bit different to other similar-ish stories and I just love how Erden is in constant awe of Leticia. Like I found out about this series through the webtoon (officially licensed by Tapas). I wanted to share a spoiler of Erden's face reveal from the Newtoki link but because I'm a new member I can't . But chapter 26 is his webtoon face reveal and HE IS SO FRICKIN' BEAUTIFUL.
