in my opinion you kind of mentioned some of the worst mcs (except long hao chen the most boring one!kai er for win)
everyone has their opinion of perfect protagonist
i prefer the mcs you mentioned 1000000 over the japanese ones but like mcs like meng hao over those ones

If I didn't read his inner thoughts and feelings (and if he was a side character instead of MC)
I would have pictured him as a sly fox that you need to be carful from it

It's by the author of PMG but the characters are rich and human. The MC's not perfect either.

 

Perfect characters aren't likeable , you can't relate to them and they're just bleak overall.
Author has to add some color's to the MC to make story better , like rape , genocide

well it's not word to word , it's been long time since i have read , but i remember when something among those lines happened

 

I also prefer MCs with "flawed" character especially those who have strong "greed" such as Shi Hao, Meng Hao, Zuo Mo, and so on. I don't know why but I just find those MCs cute and like-able.
Oh, and although both Yue Yang and Yun Che have strong "lust" and "arrogant" somehow I don't know why but just can't help to like Yue Yang while hating Yun Che.

I've never really found any of these authors stating as the MC's trying to be 'perfect', maybe I'm not reading close enough.

 

I only hate it when the author forces actions that goes against their p er Sonali ty for no explanation. As for perfectionist mc as long as it is not a 24 hour d stroke session like mga then I'm good. The author is allowed to stroke the mc d but not to the point where you are just getting sick

I think of LHC as a human in its purest form. He was brought up believing qualities of a knight and deifying his father. So all his ideas and values are not gained but passed on from his father. He's been instilled to think as such, so in a way he's perfect as you can get.
