i can understand @Wujigege starting My Pet is a Holy Maiden since the previous chappy was 3 months old...so what is with Ebisu suddenly competing with Asian Hobbyist now?stepped on the reverse scale?then why were u asleep for 3 months?and i was thinking about posting a request for pickup too...
Somehow i don't care and just want the next chapter. A fight of translators can be a bother though unless they work it out in the end and translate alternatively the chapters.
I'll personally call bullshit on Ebisu's part here. Buzy he says.... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm @Wujigege it is better that you translate considering how buzy they are.
This already happened with me on Chapter 52 haha. I spoke to Xiant Minions. I will translate this from chapter 23 https://www.novelupdates.com/series/lady-rose-wants-to-be-a-commoner/
This situation reminds me of the Kuro no maou translator - Entruce drama. Ultimately not even sure its getting properly translated in a consistent format anymore.
I'm not completely sure about the whole situation but something about the readers getting angry about the failed promises to release on certain dates and constant hiatus then LnB picking it up then the translator holding it hostage started waking up like a reanimated corpse. Don't quote me on that though.
There is a period after Ebisu's chapter 72. It might mean that they are Ending it here. lol Being kinda dramatic about it.
Goddammit, I wake up and find out my group's suddenly involved in a translation fight? .....Eh. I'll just vaguely say something about the dangers of money and get back to translating my unprofitable novels at the slowest of paces.
Huh. I wake up and see this. Okay. The series was never dropped; finals happened and rl > translation. I went to visit relatives in China straight after school ended, and I came back with the other two translators still having rl problems. Now, as I manage a larger site and another translator for another series went MIA, I took Reborn as the Hero's Daughter in my hand and did a chapter of that, which partially resulted in the delay from getting back to the US and finishing c72. c72 was already ~90% complete while this happened. I'd like to think that I'm a very contactable translator. Just shoot me an email, PM me on this website, or join the website's discord. Yet, I received no attempt at contact at all. If he had contacted me ahead of time, we could have worked something out if he was truly interested in the novel and wanted to help with the releases. Of course, he has decided to translate another novel and another Japanese translator from Yado-Inn offered to help with the translation, so the speed should be back to a weekly or bi-weekly basis, so this matter is closed, but that's my side of the story.
