I am hoping that the translators and editors from the same site could join together as a group to quickly finish off one novel before moving on to another novel instead of doing so many different novels at the same time. There are so many novels that are not even half way completed due to the same translating site doing too many novels separately.
Your hard work is definitely appreciated by us so do not mind the bad reviews given by the readers.
Thank you and I hope some groups out there will take this wish into consideration.

Welcome to Webnovel (Qidian), the overlord of web novels originals and translations. You will be paid by what you do and work in teams where if need be you shall be replaced by a more fitting slav- I mean translator. Support our reign now and pile thy spirit stones on my doorstep. :blobReach:

Sounds nice if they can avoid both mix up and also missing the nuances of the story.

All other problems aside... Who would decide which novel to translate first? :blobamused:

In theory, it sounds logical and practical.
In reality, it looks something like this

One project I edit for has just the two editors and we still often disagree over some sentence structures... three would be chaos and that's just for editors, not even translators

Also also. If several people works on many chapters at once. Ofc they would be assigned chapters. Some would get chapter 1 and other would get chapter 5.....like, will the story's continuity be alright

is that how exiled rebels do things?
I think translators translate based on their tastes and it's hard to find people with so many similar tastes.

Another point: translators should stop picking novels with over 200 chapters, when it's guaranteed that they will never finish it in their lifetime

You would've thought group projects from university would've helped honed people's interpersonal skills when really, majority of the time it goes like this.

Read the Rules before posting. That subforum is only for novel pickup requests.

That's like telling the author of HxH to hire a second author and help him write new arcs, c'mon.

    It's not the same lol.
    The story is already available.
It is like asking a publisher that is adapting a 2,000 chapter competed webnovel into a light novel and asking them to work with another ppublisher

No way in hell. I work rather be a slave (if I am not already) as long as I can work by myself. I would crucify myself before I agree to another group project where people will just leech off me and the same people will have the gall to pull the ‘we’re a team’ card. High school was already bad and an office workspace exp wasn’t any better.
