Resolved My Youtube getting laggy

    Whenever I use Youtube on chrome, it starts to get laggy. when scroll it get stuck the same happen when try to click on the setting, this has been happing only to youtube.

    I tried switching off "use hardware acceleration when available" from the setting and also updated my display drive but the problem persists.

    Can someone help me, can't find any solution on the internet.

    If it works properly in incognito mode, it might be due to an add-on

    Try removing/uninstalling the last things you've installed on your computer.

    It starts working fine after uninstalling all the extension.

    Just use,
    youtube-dl [youtube url here]
    Pretty sure the default -f is bestvideo+bestaudio/best.
    First one would be used assuming you have ffmpeg installed and on your PATH. best would be used otherwise.
