Hello, readers and writes out there. I am currently writing a BL novel right now, The Story of Chu Meng Yi, and is looking for some ideas of naming characters and their characteristic. This story's genres is BL/Danmei/Yaoi, Fantasy/Sci-fi, Xuanhuan, Xianxia, and multi-cross dimensional/worlds. I am looking for characters that will not be used as cannon fodder but rather as someone who will be turned into a Servants and Maids for the MC and ML. I need: (ALL names must in Chinese please.) 15 Girls names: from the age of 6 to 8, who are all orphans. 17 Boy names: All under the age of 9 years old. 6 of the children are rescued from bandits group and the rest are orphans. If you want to, you could also include in their background a little bit. Like, names of parents, siblings (if any) and how they end up as an orphan or how they got kidnapped by bandits and from which village or town was it? Thanks in advances. I look forward to some of the names that you give out.
Chinese-ish: We Fukem Yung Won Hung Lo Way Too Yung Yung Thin Ho (Disclaimer: Stolen from Saitama's source)
I think there are random chinese name generators that author usually use on the net right? Google is your friend.
Boys 小明 小文 小山 小王 杰克(Jack) 修(Duze's hubby) Girls 小红 小文 凯利(Kelly) 宜宣(now I'm just using my friends names...) You SAID Chinese
I like how everyone had the same last name... Xiao? Or was that for Little? As in little kids and not a last name?
Lol, welcome, everyone. It seems like I forgot that there is something called a name generator... thanks for the reminders.
Those are extremely common names found in children's books and often used in essays written by little kids.
Servant girls under the same master will commonly have names that correspond with a theme or share a character. Servant girls don't keep their original names, their master will give them new ones. As for servant boys, well, I haven't read any court politic novels that mention anything about that. But yeah. Certain fun fact. This is mentioned in a chapter of Transmigrator and Reincarnator on volare btw. But it's in ancient times and it's for servant girls under a female master, so I'm not sure if it'll apply in your case, more so since you're asking for so many... dude, who needs that many maids and servants X'D are they living in the goddamn palace? Also as a Chinese myself, I frown on the blatantly racist jokes being thrown around. TL;DR I'm butthurt and y'all are horrible human beings.
To add to this, the servant girls on Ghostly Masked Prince Xiao has their names correspond to the rainbow colors if I'm not mistaken and their clothes also reflects their name. You're offended? I've been deleting the not helpful, unrelated or trollish posts on this thread and there was a pile of it. I'm THIS CLOSE to handing out warning points to the next group of non-helpful posters.
